So as I stated before, I'm in a 16 team PPR league (w/ return yards). So you can imagine the waiver wire is severely limited in getting serviceable RBs.
My RBs are AP, Wells, Sproles and now Lynch. Someone in the league has Addai on the block, and is asking for a decent WR. My current WRs are Jennings, DJax, S. Moss, and Mike Williams (SEA). Which of the WRs do you think I should trade to obtain Addai, if at all?
Also, there are a few teams that have a decent TE on the bench (for example, one has Gates and Heap). I have Shockey and desperately want to drop him. If I pull off the Addai trade, so you think a Sproles for Heap swap would be ok? 9/17/2010 8:14:01 PM |

Does McCluster return kickoffs, if so I would start him, if not start Jones.
Who should I start at my flex this week:

Jones. He is just as likely to score on special teams, and is more of a factor in the passing game.

sorry, I saw that last night, and thought I had responded... Right now, in a PPR league, I don't know if I'd trade those guys away (at least not any of them that the guy would take for addai)... certainly wouldn't lose jennings, and probably not DJax. 9/18/2010 12:22:12 PM |

Cutler vs. Cowboys Eli vs. his brother
I'm leaning towards Eli, but I'm afraid they might just try to run it to death like the Texans did last week on the Colts. What do you guys think? 9/18/2010 12:53:14 PM |
Prawn Star All American 7643 Posts user info edit post |
Cutler may die tomorrow against the Cowboys. I don't think he'll have time to throw the ball.
But yeah, it seems pretty clear that the Colts pass D is much superior to their run D. I'm not sure how much success Eli will have in that game.
Tough decision. I'd go with Eli.

^^^ Wolf, Drop Manningham for Crabtree. He's in the doghouse right now, but he could turn into a fantastic #3 WR if you are in a 3 WR league. I honestly don't see him as more than that until he turns things around, but he's certainly better than Manningham, who is behind Steve Smith, Nicks and Boss in terms of options in the NYG passing game. 9/18/2010 10:38:45 PM |

I'm thinking about grabbing V. Jackson off waivers since his suspension is most likely shortened, but I'm not sure who to drop to make it happen. I'm leaning towards Aromashodu. I'm in a PPR league with two RB slots and no flex. I'm somewhat weak on RB. Any suggestions of who to dump?

Trying to upgrade at QB in a standard league. I have Cutler and Palmer right now
Offered these two trades:
Option 1: I get: Rodgers and Mike Williams (sea)
I give: Jennings and Carson Palmer
Option 2: I get: Rodgers, Williams (Sea), Finely, and Reggie Bush
I give: Palmer, Jennings, Gates, and Forte.
I am considering Option 1, but Option 2 sucks for me IMO. What do you guys think or should I just stay pat with Cutler and Palmer and hope for the best. I tried offering Palmer & Forte for Rodgers, but he turned that down unsurprisingly.

Gaffney and Floyd. While I'm big on Vick this week, I like his individual stats more than I do the rest of the team's. I don't know if Maclin's value goes up or down as of right now, so I would take the easier route with Gaffney and Floyd. 9/19/2010 12:16:20 PM |

have no faith in Vick to air it out until he proves he isnt going to just scramble every 3rd play.
Cooley vs HOU T. Gonzalez vs ARI

I'm thinking Cooley because that game should be relatively high scoring with Houston's offense and Donovan had good chemistry with CC. 9/19/2010 12:17:20 PM |

Check this out on the Pat's v. Jets game..

It's going to be a long day for Revis, who is still working his way back into top shape and dealt with a sore hamstring earlier in the week. Welker and Moss remain must starts. Joe Flacco threw for 248 yards against the Jets last week and Anquan Boldin went for 110 of those yards. " |
