it's also gotta be hard to be on a shitty team for four years. you'd think they'd want the TEAM to do well, even if that means playing less.1/12/2011 4:31:17 PM |

Julius Hodge just had a great segment on 99.9 on the game. He is still a firm Sidney Lowe supporter and says that the team is lacking a vocal leader right now. He said if he was still there and something like this had happened it would have come to "fisticuffs" (I fucking miss Hodge) in the locker room afterwards. His closing statement was last night was not a coaching problem it was a player problem. Very interesting. 1/12/2011 6:58:12 PM |

I wouldn't mind seeing Brown play some point if Javi doesn't improve his attitude, effort, and focus. CJW can get some minutes at the 2. 1/12/2011 7:41:05 PM |

jules is cool in my book, I don't have a problem with him speaking out
one of my best memories in NCSU basketball second to the UNC win in person in 2007 was Hodge stepping up in the last seconds against UCONN to put is in the Sweet Sixteen

^^ Brown has an even higher turnover rate than Javi. Worst on the team and one of the worst in the conference. 1/12/2011 7:53:06 PM |

Do you think jules is part of the 'private' team meetings, etc.? To me he seems like any other disgruntled fan, he just has a forum and fame factor that garners more attention 1/12/2011 8:02:42 PM |

i was one of those people cheering. sid let javi play entirely too long to start the 2nd half and his shit defense was letting them stay in the game.
every time harrow goes to the scorers table, javi starts to mope and play even worse. i think i am going to start calling him Mopey Gonzalez.1/12/2011 8:28:44 PM |

Whether or not Jules is at every practice and team meeting, I'm sure he keeps in touch with former teammates who are now on the staff. 1/12/2011 8:29:57 PM |

per Sid's radio show tonight: Harrow was subbed out at the end because he looked tired and because he blew 2 defensive assignments where BC took open 3s after screens. (I guess BC only made 1 of the shots)
Interesting because Hahn said they received several questions about the lineup change.

Nice made up statistics I wish I could say I was surprised. Are you denying that he was getting burned on defense? Or are you denying that he looked tired?

Because Javi is a defensive stopper let me tell you.
Let's take a lot at some STATS and FACTS:
Javi: 19 minutes, 0-4 0 points Ryan: 21 minutes, 5-9 11 points
Javi's marginally better defense =/ justify him playing half the game. 1/12/2011 10:08:12 PM |

Sigh....Harrow sucks at D, Javi slight less sucks, they both are terrible on that end. Harrow was not too tired to keep playing. Wood plays almost the whole game in close games, are you telling me that Harrow cannot play at least the majority? 1/12/2011 10:15:53 PM |
