Yeah, the time i beat it on Hard was with a group of randoms and it was surprisingly somewhat smooth goings. Then again, we started at the oracles, so we skipped the hardest part of the raid. Seems like loads of people that i've done randoms with and that i've watched my wife do it with have issues when they get to atheon. The atheon battle is extremely simple and it seems like people make it more complicated than it should be.

doin the hard raid with randoms can be so difficult. First time i did it was a breeze. I've tried 4 different groups today and i've ended up with possibly the 4 most mentally retarded groups i could come across

Between doing the nightfall and the raid last night, Destiny's RNG was very good to me.
