it's just antagonizing because so much evidence was already public, reports (mostly false) seem to be flying out nonstop, and the investigators keep cancelling PCs. Not a complaint, just some thoughts/opinions.

....wait they changed it again...it was a cook from a construction site in Malibu. He had access to a pressure cooker and nails and ball bearings. He also wears a white hat occasionally and traveled to Boston where it was confirmed he packed his favorite grey hoodie.

This is going to become increasingly unacceptable as social media and the internet become more pervasive.

They really need a feed of some sort for people to subscribe to, and even consider crowd sourcing some aspects of a problem like this.

Something that might be acceptable without compromising the investigation would be to something like google did where people were scored on describing images. I could see this working, and use analytics to determine which images might be most interesting.

Imagine when techs like Google Glass or the Pebble watch become more common, where people will expect information to be continuously present in front of them... it's the first step to pseudo telepathy.

It is ridiculously fucked up that he even has to do that. While the 4chan and reddit heroes may have been interesting to watch work it is absurd that a guy was forced to have to turn himself in to be cleared because of it, if indeed that is true.

And I fully expect a ton of "get of my lawn" comments directed at me.
