Yup, that was a horrifically bad call. They just overturned another one a second ago. It's such an incredibly stupid rule though, because even though it was overturned and ruled not targeting the 15 yards and automatic 1st down is still applied. How did the rules committee ever think that made sense?

SEC East is not that great and the SEC is overrated overall. Only two of the teams are as good as perception. They are still the best conference but after Alabama and TAMU, the rest of the conference is kinda overrated.

Also notice how two big12 teams come into the conference and dominate everyone immediately.

I think A&M's success is more a function of having the best individual player in the country, not some statement of the Big 12 being amazing. If that were the case Nebraska would look better in the Big Ten, and we wouldn't watch Oklahoma get their shit pushed in every bowl season.

The SEC is definitely down this year compared to some prior years. I'm from Missouri, and I still don't believe they're for real.

This might actually be the first year in a decade plus that the PAC-12 is the best conference in college football, but 'Bama is still winning the title this year.

If I had to pick one team right now to win it all, it would be Bama. But their defense is suspect. They gave up like 50 points to A&M. Manziel is good, but come on, Oregon can hang points on them too. Hell, it wouldn't shock me if LSU or Auburn caught em off guard...but a one loss Bama team would still play for the NC
