And he's raising money for vets which makes criticising him for this harder for the other candidates.

This has to be one of the crazier elections in American history. Seems like it means something but I'm not sure what exactly...

We're supposed to be the most powerful democracy in the world and our process seems like a joke right now.

Now he doesn't even have to show up, they'll still be talking about him and his poll numbers will go up.

Cruz calls for one-on-one debate with Trump, face to face, back to back, only him and Trump.

By the way looks like I was right when i asserted that the tactics of #BLM would backfire, is actually growing the racial divide, and not helping to eliminate discrimination by reinforcing pre-existing biases. Perhaps they'll be a reason Trump gets elected.

Quote :
"Among Trump supporters, suspicion and anger toward the Black Lives Matter movement run deep. These people say the group's name and slogan seem to convey that black lives are more important than white lives....

I think it's bulls---," said Ziegler, the 61-year-old diehard Trump fan who attended his Columbus, Ohio, rally. "All lives matter. You know this is bulls---- about black lives matter -- doesn't all lives matter?"
"

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/27/politics/donald-trump-voters-2016-election/index.html

Maybe #BLM should work harder on bringing people together and being more inclusive (for example switching to All Lives Matter) instead of pointing fingers and interpreting everything negative within the African-American community as Racism caused by the bigoted white system. Screaming racism at everything just puts people into defensive positions and increasing racial tensions.

So you're saying that the "BLM movement" should try to pander to the type of morons who support Trump? I'm pretty sure that wouldn't change their minds.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the people agreeing with HUR were already in participating in the racial divide. but good try.

Pre-existing racism is still racism. If it remains hidden, it remains unaddressed. Are we to blind ourselves to it just so we don't rock the boat? Fuck that.

I hate trump but what if he really is a genius at being president like he is at running for it?

He has completely worked this entire election cycle and its going to go down as an artistic masterpiece. He's taken on every major component of the republican establishment and completely dominated them. He's taken on basic American values, liberal ethics and won every time all with almost no money spent.

Foreign policy aside, he seems to have the public perception thing figured out and thats how things get done domestically.

If we end up with Clinton vs. Trump it will be a disaster for this country regardless so like others have said at that point I almost hope Trump wins just because it will be a funny disaster to watch at least.

I really wish they would stop harping so much on what Obama did. The guy isn't running for reelection so who the fuck cares. Tell us what you are gonna do going forward to fix things. I was a fan of Rubio going into the debate but he didn't do anything to help himself really. I would argue Jeb probably won last night.

rubio sounds like the most hawkish politician ever. i know cruz is up there but all rubio talks about is how we're not safe and how he's going to expand the military and take away its restrictions. he turns every topic into obama making us unsafe and is the reason like 75% of their debates are about foreign policy.

He's well spoken, but dangerous.

I love how Kasich gives a a wry knowing smile at the end of each of his way-too-long responses, after having spoke through two bells telling him to shut up.

I've said it before...I'm not voting for Trump.

If you're a Cruz fan, below should seal the deal for NOT voting for him.

Quote :

Their scores are published below, and many of them will see your score as well. CAUCUS ON MONDAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE and please encourage your neighbors to caucus as well. A follow-up notice may be issued following Monday's caucuses.""

http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/primary-forecast/iowa-republican/

they have Trump with a close victory over Cruz.

Using my eyeballs on their raw data, my gut feeling is their model over-estimates Cruz, under estimates Rubio, but is in the right range for Trump.

I still think Trump's numbers will dip as other Republicans drop out.

Basically I think everyone who has even the slightest inclination to support Trump already is, while everyone else is split between the less ridiculous candidates.

It's hard to determine. Some of them may want a VP nomination.

Jeb has to be pulling out soon. His candidacy is pretty embarrassing. Since he was the establishment pick, I think who he backs will be telling for what the party's view is. I don't think it'll be Cruz.

I would tend to agree with you if we were still really early on but if Trump starts winning states I think people will change their minds even if they don't like Trump currently. I don't think any other candidates offer any type of excitement and while Trumps might be the wrong kind of excitement I can see others getting behind him simply because he is winning.
