The right wing reaction is definitely concerning, at the same time my experience has been these folks predict “this is it, this is the moment we rise up against the Feds” literally all the time. Ultimately they just stayed glued to the TV as the next big headline gets fed to them within the next 48 hours.

Somebody at work today predictably commented to me about living in a banana republic. He educated me on how when you have a sitting President going after his political opponent, that was extremely serious and concerning! I said, "Oh, you mean like when a sitting President tries to extort another country for dirt on the family of his political opponent?" Wow, he didn't like that. Jesus Christ, why don't we go back to the home of every former president and get reports about their security?

Unless they all speak to hosting presidential functions there while in-office. If that's the case then legions of Secret Service, FBI and whoever else should have gone in prior to Trump Day 1 and secured the place.
