with a ~8% roi (10.8% counting rakeback), this is interesting... and at 6 tabling.. not really that buyin/hr enticing

the swings are fucking brutal, i've already had a few streaks without cashing, followed fortunately by a win or two. it's an odd thing though, b/c say you bust four in a row, but have 6 running, you look in your account and feel like you're really down 10 buy ins, but that's not the case b/c 6 are live.... that takes a little getting used to, due to the discrete nature of the buy, as opposed to a continuous feel with a cash game, flow in and out....

so far, with starting at a 40 buy in roll for this experiment, it's scary to have already had the equivalent of ~15% of your roll spent in rake, in all of 5 days......

i also feel like i haven't been playing great, and hope for things to pick up..

also, these have all happened since the beggining of the month, and im not even sniffing the monthly FT low limit sng leaderboard (top like 300 or so).

from what i can figure, at my point accumulation rate, if i played ~1,000 sngs per month, id crack the top 100...

neat

once you get to 20+2's you can get platinum/supernova at stars and that would eventually be worth more than rakeback I think


edit: actually I just calculated it and it would be worth about the same at supernova(ie not worth it cause you'd have to play 10 months to get that at 1k sngs/mo), I had always heard FFP's > rakeback for sng players.

also, how'd you get 30% at FT?

For me? Yeh I donk off in MTTs for the most part. That why I recommended them to sharkscope, i'm far more successful at 9, 18, and 45s SnGs.

Stars now, i've been fiddling with low limit SNGs and some .5/1 Razz tables. Yeh my ITM is around 20% if I remember right, however I think there is a massive leak in my late game play. I am in the position a lot it seems like to take it deep, but dosen't seem to happen as often as I would like. I think a lot of it has to do with what I actually take notes on for alot of people, what i've heard called FPS (fancy player syndrome), and for the majority of stakes I play at online some of the lines I take are just a bit too much, who knows.
