I realized the potential for being ~ after I got dressed but then decided that changing out of it specifically so I wouldn't look like I was one of those people would be kind of sad. But then as soon as I got in my co-worker gave me some candy and said "oh look, you're wearing pink!"

I think it's hilarious how many people I've seen on facebook making negative comments about Arcade Fire winning the grammy such as "Arcade who?" "who is arcade fire?" "gaga got robbed!!"

There was even one guy at work who was complaining about it today and said something along the lines of "I don't even know who they are but I knew they were some obscure band that you and Brian [my friend/co-worker] probably listen to." To which I replied (not trying to be witty or anything): "I never knew that a band whose album reached #1 on the billboard charts could be considered obscure..."

He wouldn't even believe me until I showed him online He kept trying to say it was probably #1 on some sub-category or something.

Still, the most hilarious status update I saw was: "Not surprised that some obscure, unknown foreign band won album of the year. The grammy committee loves that stuff" lolwut??
