So my roommate moved out in December. The electric was in her name. I had switched over the water, but we totally forgot about the electric bill until she sent us an e-mail saying we owe her all this money to pay for the bills.

Well she moved out with her name still on the lease and without finding a roommate to replace her.
So we e-mailed her back saying that she owes us $800 and if she wants to give us that money we would be more than happy to pay her back our share of the electricity, we would even split it two way since she didn't use it anymore.

She said it didn't work like that, and texted us yesterday saying that today the power is going to be shut off.

So I am taking today off work to get as much of my moving stuff done while there is daylight. And I'm going to be staying with a friend until I can get moved into my new place.

Couldn't find something one bedroom that was suitable yet, so I found another house to live in with 3 guys that on the ocean. The lease runs out in May so I at least have plenty of time to find a one bedroom to live, if not stay there if the situation works out well.
