the worst shit is when you're going through the horseshoe map (for example) and you're checking off the ones you have found then you have 49 checked off out of 50 and you go to the spot where the last one is and its not there

^^^ You hold one of the analog sticks (I think the right one) forward or back to turn the jet nozzles.

forward - forward flight
back - hover

you can also keep it anywhere between straight back and straight forward

i just learned the other day that if you let cj stand around idle and don't touch the controller, it will go to first person view and he'll focus in on interesting things around him. he watched a shoot out between the cops and balla until a hot blond walked past. he stared at her chest as she walked by then continued to stare at her ass as she walked away.

i thought it was pretty neat.

gta sa is on sale at compusa for 29.99 this week for PC and Xbox. its also on sale this week for 37.99 on ps2 at circuit city. i think i might have to get pc version cause i sold my ps2 version long ago after i beat it but better graphics would be sweet.

that one was easy - just stay slightly to the right of the tracks. if you're too close, your dude just hits the side of the train

the train mission must just be assininely hard on the PC. I've even tried getting off the bike and blasting the fucking train w/ an AK47. Its about time to get a cheat code and bazooka those fuckers.

BTW, did anyone HONESTLY not expect that the main character would get betrayed in San Andreas? i haven't gotten to that part yet, but really. THink about it. Tommy gets betrayed in GTA3 by the mob. By Lance in Vice City. It probably happened in the other ones too(never played em). Its a prerequisite for the GTA series, I think.

I managed to jump the bike onto the train and tried riding up to the guys while my homie was shooting. Unfortunately, that didn't work at all.

I got the train mission on the second try.

And yeah, I knew he'd be betrayed. It wasn't as obvious as Lance's betrayal in Vice City, but it was still pretty obvious.

aight. I finally beat it. All the guides I had read said stay ahead of the guy you want to shoot. Well, I just happened to be behind on of the guys, and I found I could "guide" Big Smoke's bullets much easier that way. So i did. Got the last guy right before the ending bridge

In 32 hours of playing, it's crashed three times... and one of those times was when I tried to alt+tab to the desktop without pausing first (crashing when trying to bring it back up).

you only go on missions with your boys, or to be more specific, when you run into the red glowing area and is assigned a mission... spraying tags, for example, is not a mission, except for that one time you go out with one of your homies and spray those two tags. with that said, how long did it take you to finish the missions?

What about missions like the Trucker missions? They're called missions... you run into a red area... but you don't have to finish those missions to 'finish' the game and complete the story.

So I have no idea how long it will take to complete the game only doing the necessary missions... I imagine I would have finished by now if that was all I was concerned with.
