Eh...it's in Charleston. So let me know if you're going to make a road trip.

We're an upscale bar, but I've put together a pretty crazy wine/beer/sake list. One of our main wine reps is a good friend of mine and has been working his ass off to get us shit you can't find anywhere. Its really been paying off because we can can't keep shit on the shelves and have been putting in emergency orders every week.

Also a big fan of another beer we have on tap (that you can't find in a bar anywhere East of Colorado except for at ours):

oddly enough, but imperial ipas and incredibly hoppy pales are about the only thing i've been buying recently.

today, just picked up a 6 of the victory hop wallop, victory hop devil and a 4pack of the dogfishhead 90min ipa.

these have been my standard pick up about every time i go to the liquor store.

Found a new favorite brewery...Bells in Michigan. My favorite of theirs is the Amber Ale:

But also like the Oberon wheat ale:

And the Third Coast Old Ale got me fucked up pretty bad the other night (10+%):

i wouldn't consider myself a beer snob necessarily as i'll still bust out some natty light and the like, but i do enjoy a good beer. having a taste for beer does not make you a beer snob.

this is ridiculous on a number of levels. First off, grocery stores do in fact carry good beer (Harris Teeter normally carries a pretty good selection) and Whole Foods' beer selection is damn good. Secondly whether a beer is good or not has NOTHING to do with where you purchased it, it's not like the fucking grocery store is brewing it in the back.

^wat?

I was thinking of drinking 24 different types of beer on the July 4th party!

I need to make an American list. I will not drink light beer because they are for pussys

Any thoughts ?

( PS. I am limited by the state of SC as well)

1.Ice house
2. Red Dog
3. Coors
4. Bud
5.Miller
6. Sam Adams
7. Red Oak

this is what I have so far
