you would really put Pennington last? Delholme has been far worse in the past 2 games than he has

i need some other opinions

Rank the following
Plummer
Delholme
Favre
Pennington
Brunell

I also have C.Williams (TB) whom I am very tempted to drop and add Tatum Bell--opinions?

I have got to solidify my QB position which has been shaky as fuck during the start of this season

He has a pretty brutal stretch coming up with almost no run support. Indy, Jax, and Miami... He has been remarkably poised for someone who hadn't seen too much game action in over a year though and he is a smart player.. it's just a matter of giving him SOME running game to work with..

brunell

the pass D of the NFC East is pretty weak, portis is back and he has 3 good WR's to throw it to

fuck, I had a lead going into tonight.

why the hell did i start Watson instead of Crumpler at the last minute?

Javon Walker blew up and therefore I fell to 0-3. Put up my season high so far but still got beat. The team I played had Westbrook, Walker, and McNabb amongst others. Damnit.

fuck. accidentally released atlanta D to waivers. now have to settle for New Orleans America's D. Thought it was going to drop atlanta and pick up a player for week 4, not week 3.

Gore and Rudi Johnson are the only other really high scoring RBs.

[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 1:51 AM. Reason : what kind of league allows you to have manning and mcnabb?]

the kind that totally overlooked McNabb when i got to him, i practically have a monopoly on QBs but screwed up on RB by draftin Lamont Jordan it seems, him and Edge are all i got really

In all the leagues I drafted McNabb didn't go until the 4th-6th round, because at the time he didn't have any good recievers.

Or as one of the dudes I was drafting with put it when he was picked, "McNabb's best reciever is Mark Wahlburg."

How many QBs do you start in that league? If 1, then yes you should take the trade without hesitation, and someone would have to be insane for offering it.

Would any of you keep Culpepper and Chambers at this point?

[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 9:21 AM. Reason : Plummer, Delholme, and Pennington are all available and Chris Chambers hasnt done shit]

[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 9:28 AM. Reason : would anyone trade Larry Fitzgerald for Cadillac Williams?]

^ I would keep them both for one more week and hope that something happens.

They play Houston in week 4. If they dont produce, Culpepper will no longer be worthy of a roster spot.

You may want to hold on to Chambers for a bit longer.

especially with this Simms situation (out 2-4 months), defenses are going to load the box and make the new QB throw.

I dont like Cadillac that much going forward.

Trade him in a hurry, especially for a top 5 receiver.

next week:

Atlanta's defense vs. Arizona

or

Seattle's defense @ Chicago?

ATL.

Bears are playing at home and Grossman, as well as his O-line, have been playing superb.

Abraham will likely be back for the Falcons, and there speed, especially at home, will destroy Kurt Warner.

no, I mean that they have been playing great.

He has been sacked only 1 time in three games.

the lowest in the league by a long shot.

Granted, they are better at pass protection than run blocking, but suprisingly, CHI is throwing much more this season than anyone anticipated.

Start ATL.

maybe the O-Line has been playing well and Grossman definitely is playing 10x better than last year

but yesterday he was 23/41 (56%) with 1 TD and 2 INTs

my point is that defenses facing them arent going to get alot of sacks, nor would they get the chance to force fumbles, deflect passes, or do the other things that typically score points for Defenses in Fantasy Football.

Arizona is just the opposite. Warner had 1 fumble, 3 Interceptions, was sacked once, and had 6 passes deflected. They have no offensive line, therefore Warner is either hurried, sacked, or forced to throw an pass that is picked or at least deflected.

once again...START ATL.

cool

only reason i would start Seattle is if New Orleans' offense rapes ATL tonight but I don't see that happening

agreed, start ATL

[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 2:31 PM. Reason : what do you guys think, Culpepper vs HOU or Pennington vs IND]

keep in mind that Culpepper is Culpepper and he has been terrible so far

[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 2:33 PM. Reason : Pennington has not but IND is a good team]

Not a huge deal Fantasy wise, but it's my job to report the news:

Quote :
"The 49ers will be without Vernon Davis for a while. The rookie tight end suffered a broken right fibula in Sunday's loss to the Eagles and is expected to miss about four weeks, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Eric Johnson will be the starter in San Fran while Davis is out, and he is a solid choice for those scanning the wavier wire in need of a tight end. Johnson caught a team-high seven passes from Alex Smith on Sunday and is an excellent safety valve for the young quarterback. Those who have Davis in re-draft leagues shouldn't worry about dropping him if they need that roster spot for someone who will play in the next month."

Drop that bitch if you aren't in a keeper league.

^

Would you drop Cooley in favor of Johnson given the news of Davis's broken leg? Cooley hasn't done shit this year and with all of the receivers Brunell has got (Moss, Randle El, Givens, etc) I am worried that he'll be a 2 catches, 20 yards guy all season.

yes.

normally I wouldnt, but considering Davis will be out, as well as possibly Gore, Johnson will be getting some looks.

If Cooley were to do ANYTHING, this past week against the Texans was it.

Cooley is dead to me.

^ cool thanks. I still don't know why I took Cooley over Winslow in the draft. Cooley was such a stud at the end of the year last year, but damn he has sucked - some of that is due to Portis being out and Brunell having a girl's arm, but still I'm going to regret that shit all year.

Washington went from using Cooley as the H back to as their Blocking TE. Sellers is their H back now and Gibbs said during the Preseason that this was to give Brunell more time to throw to Santana Moss and the newly acquired Randel-El and Brandon Lloyd

Certainly one of em over Lamont, he's not doin jack this year. You couldn't flip a dime thru the holes that the Oakland oline create for him.
