Sometimes I wonder if the people in the art department, one person in particular, ever read anything I put in an e-mail. Even if they do, they ignore it anyway, which is annoying as hell because they just make more work for both of us later on.

My office is a large office divided into three individual work areas. The room has 10 or 11 foot ceilings, but the divider walls are 8 feet high, so dust collects along the top edge. So the custodian comes in to dust along the top of the divider walls, and makes kind of a lot of noise doing so. This, I can handle.

However, when she's done, she proceeds to sweep up all the dust and shit she's knocked down. By the way, my office is carpeted. If you've ever used a broom on carpet, you know that not only does it not do a good job, it takes forever. So for about 10 minutes I'm hearing *sweep sweep sweep sweep sweep* over and over again.

She has a vacuum...I've seen it...is it not logical that 1 minute of vacuuming is less disturbing than 10 minutes of loud sweeping? On carpet???

Just "officially" got my own business yesterday that will start up this fall. The owner before me didn't pay rent, took sales down from $1750/week to $500/week, and generally let the business fall apart. So, I'm having to rebuild the business and work with people who have a generally bad view of the business because of the previous owner...that's annoying.

at the delivery job: assholes who call 10, 15, 20 minutes after they've placed their order (and therefore, after I've left the office where drinks are kept) to add on a drink. That's why your soda was warm and shaken today, asshole: I had to stop at the store to buy a drink for you, and accidentally dropped it when I almost tripped on a damn hole in the parking lot.

At the delivery job, but also in general: the whore who is batshit crazy, thinks everyone around her actually cares about her personal life, problems, and family issues, and is transparently fake with her 'kindness'. Stop calling me 'hon', 'baby', 'sweetheart', and all those other names when you and I both know we hate each other. There's a reason I say as little as possible to you, 'hang up' on you, and bail early, despite the potential for more money.

I seriously dreamt about this bitch last night. In my dream, I dreamt that I had decided to not go into the office at the start of my shift, but sit outside. She comes out, wants to chat, and I start beating her ass and trying to throw her in the river. She hit me, so I stabbed her in the eye with a pencil and then broke her neck.

That's how much I hate her.

Sadly, a new dispatcher, who also doesn't seem to realize that most of us don't care about her woes, has been hired. And often works with the first nut. So they keep each other going by giving each other sympathy and attention.

Guess what. Looking for a new place to live is not the crisis you're making it out to be, drama whore.

i hate it when people leave time on the microwaves. yeah, it's easy to clear, but it's annoying when i go up there and try to enter my time and nothing happens.

THE MOTHERFUCKER WITH PNEUMONIA THAT IS CONTAGIOUS THAT WILL NOT GO HOME

he's been coughing up who knows what since monday. actually coughing something out of his chest into his hand. he gags too. he finally went to the doctor yesterday after enough of us bitched, came back and said the dr said he had pneumonia and that he's still contagious for 24 hours after he takes his first dose of meds.

we had to work hard to convince him to leave yesterday. i wiped down all the door handles, light switches, etc w/ lysol wipes...

and he is BACK this morning. he didn't take his medicine until after lunch yesterday. i have a weak immune system and minor colds for other ppl are super major ones for me.

stay the fuck away damn it

We have a "dress code" here. It's supposed to business casual at the least, well this girl who is the cousin of our VP NEVER shows up in dress code.
