i think the best way to max out Uzi, Scorpion, and other SMGs is to play Wetworks and Vacant, among others...generally combat is close quarters which is good for getting kills with not only SMGs, but also shotguns

aaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha i just joined a FFA game during the game and the leader had 75 points.. i always get pissed when this happens because it usually is hard to win


but lmao i came back and beat everyone and beat the closest guy by 10 points and they didn't all have really low prestige

just play pretty aggressively

1) use claymores to guard my back
2) if i get 4-5 people from one spot, at least ONE of the ones i killed is looking for vengance and is going to come after me when they respawn. put a claymore there and find another spot.

Just started playing the campaign on this... Can't play regularly since I don't own a 360, though.


The game's amazing, though. Finished the second level and absolutely loved the sniping segments. Four of a Kind achievement within 10 shots.

k/d doesnt reset. you keep overall points and all those stats, but lose weapons/challenges/rank.

You stats do not reset. Thats my biggest bitch. I want that option. I would be 1.5:1 or greater if I started from scratch again. As it is, I am about 1.15:1. Still digging myself out of the death hole.

your overall stats stay the same (accuracy, kd ratio, score, wins) but you lose everything else. I'm glad I went prestige. I can't wait to do it again though because the first prestige level icon is too common. It seems like everyone has it.

i havent played COD4 enough to even consider prestige yet

i think im at level 51 or 52 so i'm close to 55, but i still have tons and tons of weapon challenges to unlock...i have dozens of kills with every weapon, but i probably only have 150 kills with half the weapons...and the headshot challenges...i need lots of work on those...some sniper rifles i have a decent amount, and a couple LMGs and ARs i have lots of headshots, but i'm content with just racking up kills to unlock silencers and paint schemes for now

SAW reload time isnt even that bad without slight of hand. they all have their benefits. M60 with a grip and sleight of hand is a beast too. throw on deep impact and you can just mow people down through walls on objective maps. pretty useful.

The M60 is my baby. I love it on headquarters and sabotage maps because you can hunker down someplace safe and just start sweeping across walls. Whenever the little X pops up on your crosshairs you know to keep the fire on that spot.

I used to love the m60, now my fav is the rpd. I see the field so much better even while aiming. I use rpd, grip, stopping, and deep impact.

Ive been trying to use the sniper guns, but boy do they suck. Ill get killed 5 times in a row, then just switch to the rpd and start rolling.

Anyone have the scope for the big sniper gun? Worth getting?

i like the default scopes on all the sniper rifles myself

the barrett .50 is kind of slow and its shakier than the other rifles (since it weighs over 30 pounds) but its too powerful to hate...the dragunov is pretty decent

100% agree... If you do not like the LMG's... Just try and get the grip for the RPD then use this setup. The hip fire on it is not great, but you can pretty much rape anyone with it at any distance. For killing snipers from far away only use ~3-4 shot bursts, though, to prevent a lot of kickback. Oh, this is most important: DON'T RELOAD. You have about 5-6 kills to get from each clip, when you do have to reload, lay down behind something and chill. It takes about 8 seconds.

Do prestige, you will do it eventually anyway. I regret not doing it much sooner, I wasted so much time at 55 when you do not get anything more from the game really. Unless you want golden guns,,, which are just the basic gun with gold coating. Wasn't very appealing to me. But redoing the challenges I forgot about is a blast. esp. "Misery Loves Company"
