He definitely got bumped late, but he threw his head back like he had been shot in the face, when the contact was nowhere near his head. If a ref sees anything like that with blue 14, they're ignoring it.

I don't care enough to run it back, but it doesn't even matter. Burrows isn't getting a call unless he gets raped on the ice. Anything less and they'll ignore it, and if he says a single word they'll ignore even more. Fair? No, but neither is trying to fool the refs all the time.

I can't believe I am even remotely close to being on the same side as GGTroll, but I know as a goalie you are sensitive to these types of things. Yes, players are responsible to their sticks, but having it lifted into Timmy's head isn't exactly something he could have "controlled". That and Timmy flopped like a fish. I don't want to see goalies get hit in the head anymore than anyone else, and in that situation they couldn't have called a penalty on the defensemen. It was just an odd occurrence and thankfully Vancouver didn't suffer because of it.

That's not the way the rule works. Even if someone lifts your stick, you're still responsible for where it goes. The fact that it contacted a goaltender makes it seem like a specialized situation, but it would still be a penalty if Kaberle was on the receiving end of the high stick, and there's plenty of precedence for that.
