i'm guessing he means 4 "game hours" of recruiting, ie ask a recruit 3 questions = 30 minutes

they should allow you to offer recruits improper benefits and other people in the league should be able to call you out on it if it looks fishy

but if it's an unsuccessful callout, they lose a scholarship

Auburn falls to 2-3 as they just can't beat off the Cocks' defense in a closely contested game

The Gamecocks improve to 5-1 with a 17-10 win as Lattimore leads the way with 164 yards and 2 scores.

Travian Robinson forced a fumble on his (pending) nation leading 10th (and a half) sack to help lead the South Carolina defense. The Cocks allowed just 112 yards of total offense including 28 rush attempts for 18 yards.

#22 Georgia improves to 5-1 after blanking Mississippi State, 27-0. The UGA defense held Miss State to just 177 yards of offense, only 19 through the air. Miss State starting QB Chris Relf was knocked out of the game in the middle of the 2nd quarter, which led to the full demise of the Miss State offense, as his replacement was sacked multiple times in the 2nd half.

HB Carlton Thomas had an outstanding day, with 3TDs on 161 yards rushing. QB Murray had a less than stellar game but wasn't required to do much, he finished the game with 205 yards passing on 14-29 attempts.

Next up for the Bulldogs is a big SEC road test at Tennessee

Miami improves to 3-2 on the season with the impressive win over Pittsburgh 41-18. Harris threw more TDs than INTs for the 1st time this season. miller piled up 168 yard and 2 TDs prior to leaving in the 3rd quarter with a concussion. next we Ohio state comes to town!

WVU takes out South Florida 52-24. Heisman candidate Shawne Alston continued his assault on the record books with over 200 yards and three scores. I'd like to give more specific stats but the summary online is fucked and shows the states from the State-TCU game instead. Next week, VT comes to town. The big question is whether coach Hey Now will have come out of his coma by then.

Damn, Ellington is still in first? Surprised after he got injured during the FSU game with very few yards. Guess he'll get to pad his stats against Vandy, Miss State and MTSU before probably getting taken out for the season by Bama in week 10.

I was not only playing in death valley, Baton Rouge, I was also playing in death valley live because there were about 11 people and loud music in the room with me. The game started out rough as I threw an interception on the first third down. It was my first interception in a loong time and I never have had a problem with or been surprised by a cpu pick. As soon as I let them go I'm like "shit, theyre going to pick that off" It was just a bad read/mistake.

The defense played great and kept LSU going three and out and on my next drive I drove down to about the 35 and dropped a pass on 4th and 1. It was crushing and I thought I would lose the game at that point.

Got the ball back and scored to go up 7-0 late in the first and I think thats where Jefferson decided to take over the game and force throws. A pick 6 made it 14-0

2nd quarters have been owned by the wildcats and we won the 2nd 28-0 to put the game away. Jefferson finished with like 4 picks. Ford fumbled twice but lsu got them both back or it would've been much worse.

2nd half consisted of us running out the clock and Kentucky wins 59-3 to move to 6-0.

Last 2 games @the swamp + @ death valley
combined score: 101-3
combined 1st half: 77-0

Wildcat offense and defense are clicking right now. After the game, we were able to run into two stars that traveled with the wildcats down to the Bayou.

I'm so proud to be able to see Kentucky football shine and I'm even prouder to see my grandson running the football the way he has. Its also been great for business because you know each fan gets a bucket of chicken everytime the wildcats score 35 or more.

The lockout has been a tough time for me and my family but its been great to have the opportunity to see little brother dominate a lot of the same defenses i dominated only a year ago.

Final:
Vandy- 21
#16 Clemson- 32

Definitely wasn't pretty but the 16th ranked Clemson Tigers remains perfect and becomes bowl eligible after a 32-21 win over upset minded Vanderbilt. The Clemson offense had over 400yds of total offense but had to settle for field goals several times after their offense stalled in the red zone. Heisman hopeful Andre Ellington once again gets knocked out early in the 4th quarter but manages decent numbers with 204yds rushing and a 69yd td run early in the game. Down 19-21 late in the 3rd quarter, true Freshman running back Mike Bellamy took over for the injured Heisman leader and finished with 40yds on 9 carries capped by a 5yd touchdown run late in the 4th to make the score 32-21 and remove any hopes of an upset.

Up Next: After 4 games at home, the Clemson Tigers travel to Davis Wade Stadium to take on the Bulldogs of Mississippi State who will be looking to rebound after being shut out by Georgia. The Tigers definitely have a lot of improvements to make with only Middle Tennessee State and a bye week before travelling to Tuscaloosa, AL and Athens, GA for games that could determine the SEC East division.

N.C. State survives a scare from Rutgers. After going up 14-0 on a 86yd TD run from Moooooooosssseeee, the Pack gives up 21 unanswered to Rutgers. Moose added another TD (his 3rd of the day) and Glennon put the nail in the coffin with a strike to TJ Graham. Rutgers scores a meanlingless TD at the end and NC State recovers the onside attempt. Moose ends up with 215 and 3TDs on the day. 28-21 Pack

Tennessee leads most of the game but gives up a td after an interception at their own 30 yd line. Then backs up PSU at their own 3 yd line but a long run and a couple of passes and PSU scores the go ahead td 20-19 with 1:45 left

(by the way, that was bullshit that you tried to pull...instead of running in for a td with nobody around you, you fall on the ground at the 2yd line to try to run out the clock...wouldn't happen in real life when a team is LOSING).

anyways, Bray leads a 2 minute drill drive for a TD with 12 seconds left.

Tennessee wins 27-20...and pretty much shut down the PSU passing game (3-10 for 30 yds and 2 ints)

@ guitarguy yes me not scoring may have been a little shitty... but so was you taking your DE and pulling him back off the line as a "linebacker" sort practically every play, especially when you somehow sent just 4 and tackled my QB before a handoff on a simple dive or stretch play.. seriously how often do you see a big ass DE walking around behind his line?

where did you guys download your rosters from?

searched the thread, apparently Patrick Morty has the roster. No idea what to do with that information haha.

Pasta Padre apparently has some problems, another quick search said operation sports has the coaching roster but not the player roster (probably just an old article).

most of the time i tried to go outside instead of inside...i pretty much knew when you were passing the ball based on your formations so i would send a blitz and try to outnumber your lineman from one side or another. on the play where your qb got sacked on a hand off...that was because you had to have called a play with a pulling guard and i shot right through the gap in the line where the guard pulled.

you still got 200 yds rushing...

In the other group i play with, moving linemen before the play has always been illegal but not after the play. linemen can be audibled into coverage anyway. I'll paste those sportsmanship rules later.

Pick plays with quick developing, easy throws and just don't throw it unless you are sure they are open. Every defense leaves something completely open. Some of the pass defenses cover everything and in that situation you have to just run. If you get into a 3rd and long situation you will probably have to take a chance at a dangerous throw. Thats when I usually just look deep and chalk the interception up as a punt. The key to football is getting 3rd and managables.
