Jordy Nelson or Steve Smith (car)? Who would you rather have on your fantasy team? 9/25/2012 8:51:57 PM |

depends on if Jennings is healthy
Smitty is a better #1 wide receiver, but Nelson as a #2 with a healthy Jennings might be a better option 9/25/2012 9:12:47 PM |

^ depends on what your other RBs/WRs are. If you are deep enough at RB that you rarely start Williams, Holmes had a good game last week.
That said would you trade Reggie Wayne and Chris Johnson for Shonn Greene and Kenny Britt? 9/26/2012 12:54:59 AM |

I'd rather hold on to CJ than pick up Greene (especially bc I picked up Bilal Powell this week in the hopes that he takes over the starting role from the hapless Greene). 9/26/2012 6:12:14 AM |

No, no I would not. Reggie Wayne is easily the best player in that trade and you are basically trading mediocre running backs for a wr who has trouble staying on the field due to injuries and behavioral issues, not to mention plays with a quarterback with awful accuracy.9/26/2012 10:00:08 AM |

10 team dynasty league w/ 2 QB spots & .5 PPR w/ 10 man benches
I give: TE Fred Davis QB Tony Romo
I get: QB Nick Foles TE Tony Gonzalez
My TEs are currently Tamme & Davis, so Gonzalez would give me more consistency, but only for this year. Would have Locker or Kolb to plug in for Romo depending on the matchups each week, but it really comes down to whether Andy Reid will finally get tired of all the Vick turnovers & go with Foles

^^no way, Romo is far more valuable than who you would plug in at qb if you made that trade. Gonzalez is an upgrade over Davis, but the gap isn't big enough to get rid of Romo over. Foles isn't going to see the field unless Vick gets hurt, and even if he does play, he's not someone I would rely on as my fantasy qb.
I would try to pick up Kyle Rudolph or Dennis Pitta as my TE until Davis catches on in Washington 9/26/2012 4:28:11 PM |

Gresham & Chandler are the best FA TEs. Not any more confident in throwing them out each week than I am in tossing out Tamme or Davis 9/26/2012 4:45:47 PM |

Thoughts on my flex this week:
Kenny Britt (@HOU), Steven Jackson (v.SEA), Brian Hartline (@ARI)? I'm thinking Britt.
Quote : | "Ugh...what the hell am I going to do with Steven Jackson? Dude is quickly approaching Chris Johnson worth." |
I think you may be jumping the gun a bit. Jackson's had 2 bad weeks in a row, but remember he only played 1 half in Week 2 and was averaging ~5 ypc before leaving with the groin injury. He was below average in Week 1 with 84 total yards, but that's not Chris Johnson level.

Pick 2 -
Michael Turner vs Car Frank Gore vs NYJ LeSean McCoy vs NYG Andre Brown vs Phil
I'm leaning towards turner and gore because of favorable matchups, but its hard to sit McCoy (even though he hasn't been that great this year). I also don't want to miss out on another huge game by Andre Brown 9/27/2012 9:00:46 AM |

^I feel like both are going to have huge games...but I think Flacco gets the edge. He's on fire and gets the only game tonight against a shitty pass defense in CLE. Yeah, KC's pass defense is just as bad, but at least Flacco is at home.

yeah, I'd probably roll Pitta too....I'd rank them Pitta, Bryant, Britt. Bryant should get touches like he has, but he hasn't produced big yet (no TDs) & I'd rather Britt have a good day first before I feel comfy to roll with him.
pick 2: Richardson @ BAL Bryant vs. CHI S. Johnson vs. NE D. Moore @ DEN M. Williams vs. WASH

I just got offered, and immediately accepted, the following:
I get Matt Cassel for Andre Brown.
This is a 12 team, start 2 QB, PPR league. My current RBs are Maurice Jones-Drew, Matt Forte, Cedric Benson, and the aforementioned Andre Brown. My QB situation was Flacco, Freeman, and just added off of waivers Shaun Hill.
Freeman has been awful, and while Cassel is not an elite QB it would give me a guy who will be top 15 in fantasy scoring as opposed to bottom 10.
Anybody think I fucked up? 9/27/2012 3:32:41 PM |

^ Nevermind, just saw it was 2qb league. Not a bad trade in that case but not a significant gain either.

What's the scoring system?
Going into it blind I'd say Bryant and Richardson, but depending on PPR vs. standard I might say Stevie Johnson over Richardson. 9/27/2012 3:49:00 PM |
Slave Famous Become Wrath 34079 Posts user info edit post |
Stevie is the no brainer of that group, and I give the edge to Richardson over Bryant.
I like the trade for Cassell, though I wouldn't automatically play him over Freeman every week, but base the decision on matchups. Freeman still has 2 games left vs the Saints, 1 vs the Panthers, and few more shitty D's. 9/27/2012 3:50:14 PM |

Ehh, I don't think Stevie is any better than Bryant this week. New England is desperate, I think they're going to spank the Bills. I'm also taking into consideration return yardage, which we score in just about every league I play in.
I wouldn't argue with either play. 9/27/2012 3:56:01 PM |

Pass.
Johnson looks done and Benson looks like he's going to be dominating the touches in GB. Benson is a bottom end RB2 or a pretty strong flex play, Johnson is a fringe flex play at this point. I also don't think Witten is an upgrade over Celek at this point. Witten for some reason has a bad case of the dropsies and Celek has emerged as a high target guy for Vick. Witten probably has the opportunity to regain his previous form and be a top 5 TE, but I think Johnson is just going to end up occupying a spot on your bench. 9/27/2012 4:40:44 PM |

Sent this message to ESPN Answer Guys thought I'd just share the info: (I know its a lot a questions but its for 3 teams)
1. If Forte plays would you trust him over Leshoure or Andre Brown? 2. Can I trust T-Rich against Ravens D? other options are Spiller, Forte, and R. Williams 3. Maclin or Floyd(SD) 4. Demaryius Thomas, Torrey Smith, or Amendola 5. Peyton or Rivers 6. Decker or Floyd(SD) 7. Packers or Eagles? Or drop one and pick up either Falcons, Jets, or Lions
Quote : | "1. I do not like any of those three backs this week, I would start Leshoure, Forte is too risky and Brown has Bradshaw back. 2. The Ravens D is no longer elite, start Richardson. 3. Floyd 4. Thomas 5. Manning 6. Floyd 7. Drop the Eagles for the Falcons.

Lol, cassell a top 15 QB? That's really high expectations. Top 25 maybe. Wouldn't even consider starting him over Sean hill...
You could make a case to start rivers over Flacco this week. Kc is god awful on defense and Cleveland defense is solid against the pass... Eh, prob just go with Flacco since he's significantly better...
Jax d is terrible , I'd start green Ellis. Washington pass d is really bad too though. Vjax has potential for a huge day but wr are less consistent and Tampa passing game has been off
