I did not watch the game closely because Virginia is boring.

I kinda figured things weren't going to be super great once Brown needed to sit.

The officiating was obnoxious/inconsistent. A lot of whistles came too early or too late, and several times, there was way too much time in between the whistle and the actual call. Get it together, guys.

I've learned that I really don't like Bruce Pearl. The comment that sealed it was about Virginia. It was something like, "Not the guy I want taking the shot. Virginia held on to the ball for way too long there, and they got what they deserved." I dunno...he was probably annoyed he had to call a boring game, but he was kind of a bitch.

not mad. we lost a tough game with our best two players hurt. only thing i could ask for is more lewis minutes and better coaching.

we fell right into their hands with defensive pressure on the pg where purvis or lewis would drive and shoot with no pass the whole possession.

I'm going to assume that a majority of college basketball games you watch would be our games, so of course you'd think that

Of course I would like us to play with the same intensity on the road, and maybe they will in the 2nd half of the conference schedule, but I am sure NC State shit will ensue.

The NCAA selection committee will certainly take Brown's injury into account for this loss, just as they will for Ryan Kelly's absence (hence why they're still a #1 seed in bracketology).

Though losing last night sucks, I take it in stride. We were really rolling along with Brown, and somehow delayed the bed shutting for a while without him in the game. For the few minutes we had Brown and CJ, CJ was on as other planet. Once Brown was out, we were forced to change our play style, which probably threw off UVA at first. After halftime adjustments by UVA, we really struggled to move the ball around, and seemed lost on offense. CJ started to really step up and he was the the flu-zone. If not for Warren's lazy ass defense and dumb fouls, and the 3-4 no calls with CJ getting bumped out of bounds, and as well as a list of other ticky tack bad luck things, we might have hung on. At the end of the day, we played most of the game without 1-2 major contributors.

Not worried. Heal up, get healthy, beat Miami on Saturday. It's all about the Madness, so learn as much as you can now, deal with errors and tough situations, and be prepared when it counts the most.

They had them side by side in the studio during the Duke game and they were actin like they could be brothers. A few times during the broadcast last night I would start thinking it was Greenberg talking and totally forgot it was Pearl.
