I think this is the key when discussing PayPal's decision. The US majority favors LGBT rights and protection so PayPal is siding with the majority (good for business and good for image). In countries such as Saudi Arabia and Malaysia the populace is overwhelmingly against the LGBT community so PayPal continues to operate in these locations.

Sure you can say PayPal shouldn't hold other 3rd world shithole countries to the same standards, but they already aren't.

Despite how liberals have reacted to HB2, the bill doesn't endorse stoning and whipping homosexuals and transexuals. But then I did some back reading on Toledo's water woes in Lake Erie. You probably remember they had that algae producing neurotoxins or some nasty shit.

While they have developed some programs to reduce Ag nutrients into Lake Erie, most seem to be voluntary or Not enforced, instead opting to spend 100s of millions on water treatment upgrades with no guarantee that they will be able to handle the problem. Sad!
