New York Post has a story with two pics saying authorities circulated them and they are the suspects but I can't find anything else saying that. Lol, and one stopped and took an official picture at the marathon?

They would have to go after the news organizations that went off saying they had suspects and possible arrests and such. The police have been pretty clear saying they just wanted to identify and speak to the two men and they were not suspects. Should be pretty straightforward go down identify yourself, bring the bags you had with you, give them any info you may have, news media releases a statement clearning your names, go home and deal with a brief media shit storm until someone else is named, then have a cool story to tell friends i guess.

CNN did erroneously report an arrest was made but they didn't plaster pictures of kids all over the place, which is far worse.

it would definitely suck being plastered everywhere as who people think did it - but if i were in that situation i would have absolutely no problem going down to the police station or courthouse or whatever and saying that i didn't do it.

i'd much rather them be looking for who actually did it then trying to think it was me.

but then again, i may be slightly naive.

You have to be careful though, if the cops are crooked they may just be looking for someone to pin it on. Ask convicts like Greg Taylor, Alan Gell, etc what its like to cooperate with an investigation only to be wrongfully convicted and sentenced to life in prison or death row.

The best advice is as soon as you find out you are being questioned as a suspect, ask for an attorney. Let your attorney provide any exculpatory evidence you may have.

Yeah I saw that this morning. Who fucking knows so much misinformation out there. I guess I am a doubting Thomas, seeing is believing until the FBI marches a suspect in for booking and a mugshot is distributed I have my doubts on anything being sent out.

The fact that they are playing this so close to the vest means they either are closing in or have no fucking clue and releasing snippets to keep the panic in Boston at bay. It did take a few years to track Erick Rudolph down.

However, he has already been re-elected so at this point he can laugh his way out of office about how people believed we had won the war on terror and Obama had killed Bin Laden therefore defeated AQ. This is a never ending war and while we may stop some of them these things are going to continue to happen forever and there isnt shit we can do about it.

I can't help but notice that Mr. Joshua was conveniently absent from TWW during the bombing.
