In 1/2 PPR league for flex spot who to go with:
J Edelman WR A Holmes WR D Allen TE T Mason RB B Brown RB
The RBs are a crapshoot, as are the WRs. Is it crazy to go with the TE out of this group? 10/23/2014 10:17:09 PM |

guy in my league REALLY wants Jordy
My current normal underperforming (as a whole) starting lineup is:
QB Brady RB McCoy RB Gore/Joique Bell WR Jordy WR Marshall TE Gronk W/R Emmanuel Sanders
He has Lacy, Andre, Keenan, Forsett, among others
I would rather keep Jordy, but offered him for Lacy and Andre, he said Forsett and Andre, I countered with Lacy and Keenan, he doesn't want to give up his 1st round pick
What should I do? Stay put? Make a move? 10/23/2014 11:05:52 PM |

yes
my dilemma is i've been projected by yahoo to win every fucking week. but guys like brady and shady have fucked my asshole all year. so my team is great on paper and i'm not so sure giving up jorday (#2 wr in my league's settings) is a good idea. but if i did, i'd like to get a stud RB to plug in opposite mccoy

Yeah if I was you, I don't think I'd trade Jordy Nelson without getting Lacy in return.
I've "allowed" the most points in my league so far this year. And last night my opponent, of course, had Peyton, Sanders, and Hillman. This season is just getting ridiculous for me haha. 10/24/2014 8:11:10 AM |

Pick 1 RB and 1 Flex (W/R):
Bishop Sankey (Hou) Tre Mason (@KC) Denard Robinson (Mia) DJax (@Dal) Brian Quick (@KC) 10/25/2014 3:05:06 AM |

that's pretty ugly.
I'd go Mason and DJax.
If Colt McCoy is still starting in Washington you might consider Denard, but only if it looks like Gerhart isn't going to be back. He's not going to have another 20+ touch game just because of the matchup, and if Toby is back he'll eat a few carries and possibly impact the goal line situation. 10/25/2014 6:50:39 AM |

Martellus^^^ I wouldn't trust Graham; I could see him going in there, getting hurt again and hitting the bench

^^There isn't a goal line situation in Jacksonville. They've reached first and goal only 5 times on the season, with three of those times coming in the last two games against much softer run defenses. They've only run 3 plays all season from inside the 5.
Tre Mason and DeSean Jackson would be my choices there.

Same team, have a couple of dilemmas (nonPPR):
TE: Kelce (v STL) or Reed (@ DAL)?
FLEX: Doug Baldwin (@ CAR), Bishop Sankey v HOU), Fitzgerald (v PHI), or the loser of the TE choice?

I think I'd go Jordan Reed if Colt McCoy starts. Baldwin and Fitzgerald is a tossup to me; Seattle may be able to trounce Carolina purely with their running game, so for that reason I'd give the nod to Fitz. 10/25/2014 6:29:06 PM |

WR: Andre Johnson or TY Hilton
Flex: Jamaal Charles or Ahmad Bradshaw... normally a no-brainer, but that matchup.... 10/25/2014 7:26:12 PM |

Yeah, it's a tough matchup, Rams have been good against the run, but you start Charles every week he's healthy no questions asked. If you can find a way to get Bradshaw in too do it, but if you must pick between them it's gotta be Charles. 10/25/2014 10:32:46 PM |

Should I bench Brandon Marshall?? He has been a flop in 4 out of his last 5 games.
Options to start in his place -- Sanu, Decker, Hopkins, or Watkins 10/26/2014 11:34:40 AM |

I would start Sammy Watkins over Marshall today. A combination of Derelle Revis and Cutler throwing into coverage could be dangerous, and Watkins is the best offensive weapon the Bills have. 10/26/2014 12:36:52 PM |

Somewhere Don Beebe is crying.
Also, go on with your bad self, Shoestring. I picked him up in one league and started him out of desperation and he's already got 100 total yards from scrimmage. 10/26/2014 2:13:46 PM |

It's full on desperation time in terms of RB for me in that league. This week my starting RBs are Bryce Brown and Mark Ingram, with Shoestring in the flex.
Thankfully I've got Rivers at QB and Nelson, Bryant, and Colston at WR. 10/26/2014 2:20:44 PM |

So, I got offered Percy Harvin for Doug Martin this week. I would have likely taken the trade, but it was offered to me by the guy I'm playing. Neither one of us are starting those guys, but it's a tempting deal since I'm relatively deep at RB in that league (Lacy, Bradshaw, Gore, Oliver, and Martin), but I've got a slew of byes upcoming and this week is probably the make or break week for Doug Martin that will determine if he's going to see much work going forward.
I turned it down and told the guy to re-offer after we played if he was still interested. PPR league, start 2RB, 3WR, 1W/R/T flex. My other WRs are R. White, D. Thomas, AJ Green, A. Robinson, and Crabtree. One other consideration is that we do get individual return yards.
If he does re-offer would you do the deal? 10/26/2014 2:35:07 PM |
