I'm trying to find some cute "daily driver" summer sandals...any ideas? I'm not really in to rainbows anymore and I've always had reef's lately...I'd like something just as versatile but with a little bit more style.

this is the new suit i got. the camera makes it look stripey but its not really. its black with white accents almost in a tiny plaid print... hard to describe



this is the same outfit as above but without the jacket and an added belt... which you'll be seeing more of



omg this dress. its silk and i love silk. its so beautiful and soft. i saw it and had to have it



this is a sleeveless dress like the one above but i am just wearing a black short sleeve shrug with it. love the shrug, never had one before and its pretty awesome



Vix, is this the dress? the waist is just green and i like the contrast better with the belt so i added that touch



this pic doesn't do the color of this dress justice!! it's such a beautiful deep pink color. there is a cool pleating-type detail on the neckline that you can't see very well in this pic. they had the belt on the display with this dress and i liked it and it ended up working out on other outfits too

there is also a 3/4 sleeve length shirt dress that is a nice royal purple i got too. i forgot to take a pic in it but it also looks nice with the belt.

i feel old because all of this stuff is nice but super appropriate. i don't own any "club" clothes (which is probably a good thing) but while packing for vegas tonight i ended up packing a lot of the stuff above because that is pretty much all i have in the way of "going out" clothes

anyone use pettipants for under skirts to stop chaffing?

I've been thinking about ordering some of these.

I love wearing skirts in the summer and I'd like to not have to wear tights/hose underneath, but if I do it ends up hurting

I have these from Spanx (I used to be a specialist so I have tons of different undergarmets) and they work great for skirts since my thighs touch. They don't hold much in, but just nice to have a layer.

Pro-tip: If your spanx are rolling that means they're too small

As great as it would seem to squeeze yourself into a smaller size, they don't play that game

I got some anti chaffing gel that works pretty well, but if you get sweaty it wears off. I will have to try those skinny britches.

I'm not sure if spanx has made their line of skinny britches for the "Assets" line they have at Target, but it wouldn't hurt to see.

It's a good way to try the product before investing in the real thing if you're skurred. Skinny britches aren't too expensive tho (like $40).
