Uggghhhh what the hell is up with my phone???


I have NO service at my home...nor anywhere near it. Been going on for 2 days. I had service at Mission Valley yesterday and at work, but get me within one mile of my place and it goes away. Maybe it really is time for a new phone.

^^ Lindsey I had that problem a few years ago. I called my cell phone provider and found out 2 towers were down in my area. As soon as they were fixed, I had service again in the house. I would call your cell phone provider first.

hmmm...well, I've been kind of looking for an excuse to get a new one....You know since I still have a simple flip phone where the coolest thing on it is that I can send a text message. I'm still on my mom's plan, so I've been waiting til the contract was up which is supposed to be sometime this month.


On an unrelated note, I actually really really like J-Lo's new song. But I've always been a fan of hers.

Help,TWW! As I mentioned earlier I am still on my mom's phone service. Which, I hate to stray from because that would be adding one more bill for me to pay. But, she is with Alltel, and while I haven't minded their service over the last 10-15 years, the main reason they suck is because Alltel is no where in Raleigh. I have to go home to Hickory to get anything taken care of or have my mom do it. I'm 26 yrs old. That's more than aggravating. So I am looking into a new phone and service provider. And while I know everyone have their own opinions... .I am looking at either the Samsung Epic like Brett has or the HTC EVO. I'm also taking suggestions if anyone feel inclined to help.

my advice since you're getting married and all that, is to go ahead and hop on brett's service provider so you both can get a reduced rate having more than one number on a plan. when you do that...see what kind of new sign up they will offer w/ whatever phones...and THEN decide what kind of phone you want.

i remember when we got on the same plan--it was only ~$40 more to add my number to it which was crazy awesome as we were both paying ~$100+ when we had separate plans for phone, text, data, blah blah blah

or wait...we might've added HIS number to my "new" plan so I could get the deal...I forget. regardless...the people at ze sto' totally helped us out in making sure we got the best deal when we combined

Is your contract up piddlebug? You don't want to have to pay that early termination fee. Also, make sure that Sprint works in Hickory because Sprint doesn't work at all in my home town and is shitty in a lot of rural areas. If you are getting married then you should definitely bundle your plans together and save some cash. As far as phones go, just figure out what you want to be able to do on your phone and what is important to you. Most of them are similar anyway. Also, check out the reviews online.

That is EXACTLY my situation! Also, the service is really unreliable, sometimes I have really good signal in one place, and sometimes I've got really shitty service in the exact same place.
