ohhhh where do you go? your hair color in some of your pictures i've seen is similar to what i want!!!! its really pretty. what is your natural color? or is that your natural color and you've just had different colors in the past?? i def want more red in mine though. like a dark auburn

and @ nerdchick..thanks for the suggestion for the DIY color! i'm way way too scared to do it myself though. i googled some at home dyes and found some with good reviews, but then the pictures that were posted were like...shocking red haha. i don't want it to be too shocking. plus i have def dyed my hair myself BADDDDD before haha. i have dark hair so it seems like it'd be hard to mess up but....somehow i manage

My natural color is auburn but I dye it brown.

I go to Stephanie at Loxxe on Jones in downtown Raleigh (on Jones St off Glenwood).

Salon Moxie ftw. Get Jenna Emory, she is THE best.

http://www.salon-moxie.com/index.html

prices are reasonable and the salon is great. Full color begins at $82 - I assume it increase based on the level of the designer. She just got promoted too.

I have pretty dark brown hair, but when I wanted a change to auburn, similiar to yourself, I didn't go with an all over color. I actually asked my stylist to do a halo highlight with the auburn. It came out pretty great.

I have some natural redheads in my family way back, so I guess I looked like a natural red head with the highlights. I got called out at a Jiffy Lube (they were trying to upsell all sorts of crap) and I got mean with them. That's when they were like, "Woooah, calm down Red - seeing that temper of yours!"

The Mahogany shade is pretty. but I stopped dying my hair less than a year ago. Embracing my natural color plus no touch ups and healthier hair!

you're lucky. i have too much gray to go "natural." plus i hate my red hair - it doesn't look natural against my skin tone.

I got my hair chopped off recently and the lady who did it had those feathers in her hair - at first I was like "wtf?" and then I read about them in this thread.

I went to Vent in Durham and Kristie (the owner) did it. It just opened so the prices aren't bad at all.

ok so i work from home on wednesdays and i had to run out to marshall's to get a lingerie gift for a bachelorette party i'm attending this weekend (ps - i always get my lingerie gifts at marshalls - they have the cutest stuff and it's really inexpensive)

i wasn't planning on buying anything for myself but marshalls always has the best stuff! low and behold, adding to my ever growing shoe collection - these fabulous taupe Kenneth Cole Reaction heeled sandals for summer. ahhhh love love love. and only $39!

Just took the plunge on these:

Orig 395.00
DSW Clearance 99.00
-$35 in promotional credit
Total: 64 + tax

Would these look ok with my cap and gown?? I wish we still had black caps and gowns

Nvm that'd be red overload and the shades prob won't match up. Such a shameeee

I love my patent leather shoes. You'd get a lot of use out of red ones. Definitely consider buying them.

Oh heck yeah.. I had already bought those suckers before even posting. THEY'RE AWESOME NO DOUBT.

You're right, Nerdchick.. I actually didn't even have my cap and gown in mind when I first wanted to purchase them but then I thought hmm these might be great for graduation.

^I've always wanted patent leather shoes and I've always wanted red pumps so this encompassed all of my wants/needs/lets-call-them-needs-because-it-justifies-them-further

Though it really would have been awesome to wear these back when we did the black caps and gowns NCSU FAIL

I can't decide where I should get a new swim suit...old navy has failed me this year...normally they are my trustworthy place for suits.

I dunno, I may have to bite the bullet and go to some place around here and pay way to much for a suit, but I gotta get something that fits me right, I hate being in a suit and tugging at it or being afraid i'm going to get exposed.

I gotta get a swim suit body at some point in my life so that it's much easier to find a suit.

Basically I need a one piece, halter top, boob coverage, low cut in the legs.

YOu know what would be cool...if there was a website that I can submit a picture of myself and then they would tell what suit would look best on you

THANKS! I had to search high and freaking low for them! i found them but then i couldn't find the taupe boxes anywhere so i had to walk up and down the aisles and stop every time i saw a Kenneth Cole box to find the taupe ones and then try to find them in my size. thankfully they did. they have them in black too but i liked the taupe so much more!

^same here

But since I wear one pieces I'm always on the search for super cute ones that show my personality. It sucks that they make so many boring one pieces and sooooo many cute 2 piece suits.

Makes me wanna sew some together lol

Well yeah I do...that's the issue, hard enough finding one that I wanna do that for, much less two, and with the amount of time I spend on the beach in the summer suits are ruined for me. One day I'll be skinny and I can wear a two piece....those are so much easier to find
