In the last season finale, when he was in a coma it zoomed into his eyes. You could see the kryptonian writing. I would assume he knew all the stuff because somehow the stone allowed him to "learn" how to read Kryptonian and he read about all the stuff.

The other thing that annoyed me about the ep was when the Kryptonians walk into the kryptonite vault, go weak but get back up, and Lana just sits there useless. Granted her leg is hurting, but for a second there those guys were vulnerable, and could have easily been pushed into the vault from behind. I just kept thinking to myself "you stupid useless bitch, go do something besides wait around for Clark to save your ass! "

How come when Clark walks up to the vault he collapses on the floor and passes out, completely unable to get away. When the Kryptonians did it, they didn't even fall over. The black one was able to get away from it relatively easily and the girl was able to get out of the way so he could throw the door. Whenever Clark gets near it he just starts rolling around on the floor.

It is probably because they have had more training and are used to the effects of Kryptonite more than Clark. They did get stunned nicely but were able to move away quickly enough.
