could this game have been the biggest victory since our last ACC Championship?

Given the circrumstances, lack of depth, complete underdog thang, the only other game that could be comparable would be when we beat #1 Duke a few years back, but as we saw it wasnt really a launching point for the program...

in the coming future, i think this game could be one of the springboards for success, even tho its cliche

we beat unc in herb's first year and they were ranked top 3 in the nation, and that was in the dean dome. everybody was saying exactly that afterwards too^

How about us making a run in the tournament AND landing a great recruiting class being bigger than the UNC win. Sid kicked ass with 5 players his first year and did his work on the recruiting trail....that will be the turning point.

I agree. The day he landed JJ Hickson, Lowe made a loud and clear statement. That statement was "WE'RE NOT FUCKING AROUND!" That statement was echoed a little later when we became the first 10 seed to make the championship game, and Lowe became only the second State coach to win 20 games, and beat the other three teams on Tobacco Road at least once in his first year. One can only wonder how some of those games would have turned out had Atsur not been injured. The first WVU game and the Cincinnati games come to mind.


That really should be the unofficial motto of the team next year, "WE'RE NOT FUCKING AROUND!"

Does anybody have anything that they will ALWAYS remember last season about, like one specific thing?

Mine is the song "Pain" by three days grace. I played that throughout the whole ACC tournament b/c i just felt like it fit the team/situation so damn well. "Pain, without love, pain, can't get enough". That team was playin like madmen.....u knew they were tired/hurting, but you just couldnt get enough of them. Last years team will forever hold a place in me

haha, the feeling of the last minute of this game was just insane. Nobody was sitting.....the students were rushing down towards the court, there was just total elation around the whole arena. I was standing up on the tops of chairs with about 4 of my friends as Fells was sinking the FT's at the opposite end of the court, and it was just beautiful
