the shitty cars are even more shitty it seems...got a sports car and it handles much better

i'm still kind of meh on the new wanted system. seems like every time i get out of the circle, some cop pops up on the street ahead of me

i'm glad the PS3 has the install...there is no pop-in (backgrounds are visible for miles) and the load time is less than half a second for any mission...not even enough time for the "loading" icon to glow more than once

I've got a few questions about the game:

Would you get a wanted star for traffic violations in front of cops? Like running a red light, hit and run, hitting a pedestrian, etc.

In San Andreas the cops would start shooting at you if you had a 1 star wanted level. Punch a random guy in front of a cop and the next thing you know you're taking rounds.

How large is the playing area as compared to VC/SA?

i guess i'm a bitch, but for some reason i'm trying to be real careful and not kill anybody or mess up so the cops won't be after me or somehow effect the future of the game.

is it ok to take a break and mess around and kill people and steal cars and then get back to work? once you evade the cops and everything is calm, is it back to just how it was before? what if you leave someone hanging or are late for an appt? Once you finish a mission, i guess its ok to make vlad waiting so i can go do some fun stuff?

i have a slightly off topic question. how many of you play this on a standard definition tv? How does it look through that?

The reason I ask is b/c I have an HD tv downstairs, but I know that most of my game time will be spent hooked up to my 54" standard "Big Screen". I know the HD will really make a difference in the wow factor of the graphics, but i still want to know how it looks on SD.

The only problem I've had on other games has been text that's so small it's unreadable, but that isn't an issue with GTA4.
