only thing i can think about is i def. don't want the patriots to win

but if Eli wins, then all we will hear about is how the Giants got the best of the deal in the draft trade

UGH

the giants played pretty well, especially considering the conditions

the packers played like complete and total ass in every facet of the game and deserved to lose

the better team won today

eli manning is a faggot

Why wouldn't he be back ? He was one of the top 5 QB's in the whole NFL this year ! He will be back.

eh, I say he's gone.

And how about Rivers' draft class

#1 Eli Manning - going to 08 Super Bowl
#4 Philip Rivers - gone to the 08 AFC Championship
#17(?) Ben Roethlisberger - 06 Super Bowl Winner

If Eli wins (which he won't), Rivers will be the odd man out.

Out of the NFC...

^ Ben was #11. Plus JP. Lossman was also a first round pick.

Who cares what they got?

The fact that ncsu fans even cling to p rivers is a direct reflection of how horrible our entire athletic program is in every single sport.

110% sure that fans of every college team do this.

Actually its a little worse with NCSU fans. Its like you guys are obsessed with him, and he is the only thing worth cheering for because he doesn't totally suck.

Fans of other teams root for alumni, but it seems you guys care more about Rivers than you do your own schools sports.

Or perhaps its because NCSU doesn't have as many good players in pro sports as most universities, so all your devotion to alumni is limited to mainly him and Mario.

I think its probably a combination of both.

Jaybee does the same damn thing with Manning.

I'm sure you would with directional georgia community college, if they had a team.

So they're all big Rams and Cardinals fans?

KRob plays for the Packers; must all be huge Packers fans.

Locklear, the Seahawks. Hoyte, the Cowboys. Cotchery, the Jets. etc.

^^ Rivers was the leader of our team for 4 years, I'm of course going to follow him more closely than the others.

Plus, I want all those guys to be considered great individually, but the nature of the game today, for whatever reason, QB is the one position where a player can't be individually outstanding on a poor team and still be considered great, his team has to win. When talking about the greatest running backs and defensive linemen of all time, number of superbowl wins don't seem to matter as much as they do with QB's for some reason.

lol, I love it when you guys call Georgia State University that like its some insult.

Sure, its not as good of a school as NC State, but you do realize they are both State Universities?

Yeah shame on me for not graduating from Ohio State because my dad passed away and I wanted to move closer to home to be with my mom for awhile. What a moron I am.
