Ok, I'm going to have to assume you supported Bush.

And then I'm going to lol at you for talking about how vital it is for the President to exercise leadership over the executive branch.

Dude, neither of the candidates have been president before. They'll both require on-the-job training.

For everyone who said Obama basically cannot lose at this point (coughCNNcough)...

Latest Zogby Poll:

Quote :
"Obama has slim 2-point lead on McCain

By John Whitesides, Political Correspondent Wed Oct 8, 12:41 PM ET

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has a slim 2-point lead on Republican rival John McCain in a tight White House race, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

Obama led McCain by 47 percent to 45 percent in the national poll, within the margin of error of 2.8 percentage points. Obama led by 3 points in Tuesday's poll.

"This race is at equilibrium," pollster John Zogby said, adding neither candidate has been able to take full advantage of voter unhappiness with the country's direction."

goes on to say it was taken on Tuesday before the debate, but so was the latest Gallup poll

well in fairness, you do often have shitty grammar and spelling...its not the worst trait to have but i know you acknowledge it

and that doesn't change the main point of my post which is that TSB != the USA...if TSB were indicative of the country's political climate, Obama would win 90-10%...in reality, he'll probably win 52-48%

I can't believe there are people sucking Henry Kissinger's dick and saying he is an asset to McCain (or that he endorsed McCain). Either way, how is Kissinger a good thing?

War criminal
Approved MANY massacres and genocides
Engineered some massacres and genocides
Indicted/wanted on war crimes and genocide charges in many countries, including Western countries
And a full-on asshole

One of the vilest humans ever to live, right up there with Hitler and Stalin.

right up there with Hitler and Stalin?

0EP...you have a strong point going, and then you completely fuck it all up by comparing HENRY KISSINGER to ADOLPH HITLER AND JOSEPH STALIN

not the way to make your point, trust me i know

so winning the nobel peace prize cancels genocide?

and if i brought up Ayers here to show you he has changed since he is a univ prof, you are still going to say he is a terrorist.

oh, and a 3rd i-am-sure hypocrisy on your part: Yasir Arafat won the nobel peace prize, but i am sure you (and most americans) see him as a terrorist.

So you're calling Americans stupid idiots?

That's a great way to win an election.

Plus, it'd be very difficult for McCain to "nail" Obama with that, because you'd first have to explain what you think a right is, and then explain why you think American's don't deserve good, affordable health care. That's not easy to do.

Obama's weakest point to attack him on is what they're doing right now: try to smear his character, and remind people he's not white and has a funny name.

^^NSSM 200 was an overblown research paper...genocide is murdering an entire group of people, not limiting food supplies to particular countries

and yeah arafat was definitely a sponsor of terrorism, but "you people" (some tsb liberals) have given arafat a free pass because of his nobel prize, so why are you blowing kissinger's actions out of proportion?

as far as ayers, i hope he's changed, but all i bet he's changed is his agressiveness...i believe he still has the same ideals...regardless of how much he's changed, he clearly has some major problems with the country, so much that he hates the country...doesnt seem like the type of company a presidential candidiate should take

^i'm pretty sure he was trying to say that Obama supporters were idiots, not Americans...which makes sense to me!

McCain is basically walking into a trap tonight. Obama challenged him to bring up the Ayers thing "to his face", and McCain then promised that he would. Now, Obama has had all the time in the world to prepare the perfect counterpunch and McCain can't back down because he would look weak to his base. Should be quite entertaining to see how this plays out.

Plus, polling is indicating that the Ayers attacks actually hurt McCain.

yet some people still don't see how the media has constantly supported Obama over the last year...the fact that McCain bringing up a terrorist with ties to Obama can hurt MCCAIN is proof of this

How's that?

Maybe most people just see through the stupidity of the attack.

The fact that you can't is indicative of your bias.

i heard all that same shit about rev wright when that was supposedly nothing...until obama was 'forced' to cut ties with him and then condemn the main father figure in his life...just bam, 20 years of being a spiritual leader, and then kicked to the curb after some soundclips showed who he truly was...and then all the obama supporters jumped on that bandwagon when the dalai bama gave them the signal, and proceeded to not condone wright's comments any longer

but please, call me biased for questioning the past relationship of a man who wants to be the next president of the US, and a man who was content in bombing US govt buildings...you're enlightened enough to see through the "stupidity" of the attack...

^^ exactly

the Wright attack had more substance than these Ayers attacks.

The Ayers attacks are so baseless and ridiculous, McCain would be an idiot to try and bring it up during the debate.

McCain has tried the character attacks in the past 2 debates and failed miserably. He should really try and explain why he thinks his health care plan and tax plan are better for America. At worst, he can't lose ground if he does this well.

lol

You don't get it... it's not that people think Ayers is a good guy, it's that in the capacity Obama worked with and knew Ayers, his past was meaningless. Between the conservatives that funded Ayers program, and the conservatives that worked with the program, there's nothing there to question. What exactly are you questioning? Do you think Obama sought Ayers out because of his past? Or do you think Obama saw a chance to work with a well-funded education reform program and jumped on it?
