Thrice is releasing a new album in October called Beggars in case anyone else listens to them.

There are also a couple live versions of 2 new songs on Youtube called The Weight and All The World is Mad. If anyone is interested here are a couple links. (ignore the shitty sound quality)

who writes a song

and says "'the weight' is a good title, yeah"

that's like writing a new song and calling it "satisfaction"

well it seems like the music industry makes its living off of the teenagers.. many of them probably don't even know who 'the band' is

only time im irritated with that type of shit is when a band chooses a song as its band name.. i remember the song as a badass tune but everyone else hears that song name and thinks of this new shitty band.

like aqualung for instance.. or godsmack

I forgot about this early 2009 release album, but I fumbled across it today, and I favorited about the whole damn cd.

A.C Newman : Get Guilty

just to warn you, if you don't like slower music or simple beats this may put you to sleep...

I'm really pulling for these guys -- they deserve it.

Agreed... the first 4 or 5 tracks are all great, imho. Starts off very strong.

"Darkest Hour", while not a track I would find myself seeking out for a quick listen, was very fucking cool.. especially the first half of it.

This megafaun is quite good. A nice change from the crap i've been listening to lately.

I ended up not going to the Cave In show. I ended up staying home and studying instead, boo. My friends went and saw Wilco instead.
