that gortat kid on the magic's bench had an air jordan tattoo on his calf yet adidas or some other shoe company wanted him to cover it during games. you would never know that tattoo was there unless someone brought attention to it (like the gloves) but it still pissed them off a little.

adidas owns reebok. also a lot of the wr's/db's wear cutters gloves. (well, they did a few years ago, idk about now) those things are sticky as fuck. makes me wonder how owen spencer could drop so many passes!

I'm happy to let you know that the plan for this year is to use red letters in the endzones, as opposed to the white letters we have used the past several seasons. While they won't be red endzones with white letters as you have suggested, we hope this will be a step in the right direction for you.

saw the TOB show up at Backyard Bistro tonight. Like always, its tough to glean anything from his comments about player development, but he seemed genuinely positive about the secondary (despite the Rashard Smith injury) and implied that Nate Irving's stamina may not ever be what is was before (because of the lingering rods, screws, etc from surgeries).

My reasoning for expecting a smack down in store for UNC when they face LSU.

Les Miles vs the ACC as HC at LSU

2005 - LSU 40, Miami 3 (Chicken Sammich Bowl)
2007 - LSU 48, Va Tech 7 (at Deaf Valley)
2008 - LSU 38, Ga Tech 3 (Chicken Sammich Bowl)

Les Miles' teams are 3-1 in the Georgia Dome. That is more wins in the place by Ga Tech and UNC combined.

LSU had a "down year" last year going 9-4 and 5-3 in the SEC. UNC had a "good year" last year going 8-5 and 4-4 in the ACC.

Also in the past two Chicken Sammich Kickoffs the results haven't been pretty for the ACC.
2008 - Alabama 34, Va Tech 24
2009 - Alabama 34, Clemson 10


There will be a bloodbath come September 4th, and I will be thoroughly entertained as a result.

I think Nate Irving is going to help the pass defense more than people think, he had 4 interceptions in 2008, including one he ran back for a TD (the only bright spot of that game).
