I was wrong for not adding a clairitive statement.

I shouldn't have assumed anyone knew what happened the first 15 games of the season when we got pounded on our big western conf roadie nightly that put us in this hole we're currently climbing out of.

Kemba's game winner last night was just ridiculous. He actually hit two game-winning shots. He might not shoto a high%, but I don't think there's a more clutch player in the league.

This team is playing better ball without Al Jefferson slowing things down. Might should look to trade him while his value is high.

^Should have called Cleveland before they got Mozgov. Two first rounders would have been sweet.

Team is playing better though and finally closing out the games with leads. Early in the year they were just blowing leads.

Yeah, but the Cavs were looking for a rim protector. That's the opposite of Big Al.

Still bet we could get a 1st rounder for him easily. He's probably the best low post scorer in the game. His defense is just terrible and he doesn't blend with the other guys on the team.

He would be a great piece on a club that plays team defense and spaces the floor well like San Antonio.

I really want Vonleh to come good at some point this season but he's just so young. You can tell watching the game that he's a kid playing against grown men. Nothing but time can help that.

Again, this team is better without Big Al. Henderson has somehow morphed into Michael Jordan.

Hornets were involved in a 3-way trade with the Nets and Thunder to send Lance to Brooklyn. Sounds like they've been snubbed and the Nets and Thunder are now talking exclusively.

beat the Wolves today with no Kemba and a limited Al, 105-80.

Ever since the Hornets got away from having to play Western Conference studs every night, they've been on a roll. 1/2 game out of 8th now. 2 games out of 7th.

I've heard he could be out four weeks, or could be out the rest of the year. Losing him for four weeks means he only misses 10 games or so, since the All Star break is coming up.

Looks like they might be adding a PG from the D League, Gary Talton. Supposedly leads the d-league in assists and can shoot the 3. Doubt it happens though. Guessing we'll stick with Roberts and let Neal/Lance run point when he's out.

Yeah I speculated on the length Kemba might miss. Seems silly to start tanking in January though, in the East.

I don't know how, but this team is playing some awesome basketball right now. The only teams they've lost to in 2015 are the Cavs and Spurs. Not bad.

From ESPN Power Rankings summary:
Quote :
"Jabs about the softness of Charlotte's schedule during this 10-3 surge into the East's No. 8 slot have to be tempered a tad by the fact that Kemba Walker has missed four of those wins while Al Jefferson missed six."

They have us ranked #17.

Clifford is a damn good coach. They need to hold onto him. This roster is a joke without Kemba and Al and hes made it work.

Beat the Wizards tonight, for the 2nd time this week. Hornets have the 2nd best record in the NBA since January 1st behind obviously the Hawks, who became the first team in NBA history to go 17-0 in a month.

All this without Kemba and with Big Al missing some games

The competition hasn't been a cakewalk but let's not act like it's been against the toughest teams in the league.

That being said, it isn't easy winning this consistently and I love the winning spirit.

Hornets face the 76ers, Pacers, and Pistons before the All-Star break and then start a three game stretch against the Thunder, Mavs, and Bulls. Really hope they can win the first three and steal one from the second three off the break.

Lol. Mo Williams is one of the worst defenders in the league.

It doesn't matter if he can score of the guy he is supposed to be guarding can score more because Williams is so shitty.

The loss to Miami last night pretty much slams the door on this season. Probably a good thing. No MKG or Zeller would mean a slaughtering in the playoffs. Onto the lottery!

It was a weird year and definitely underwhelming. Lance was basically awful, Big Al somehow got slower, and the two rookies basically did nothing.

Other guys really seemed to improve. Henderson had a solid year and started hitting 3's. Biz turned into an absolute animal on defense (and on the glass). Cody proved to be starter-quality and developed a reliable jumper.

MKG still needs to tighten up his shot, but man ... it's so much better than it was last year. He could have had a breakout year if he stayed healthy.

Kemba was playing at an All-Star level before he got hurt. And trading Gary Neal for Mo Williams might be the biggest coup in franchise history.

Best thing for next year would honestly be to cut ties with Al and Lance. Bring in a shooter to play alongside Kemba and MKG, sign a decent center, and start playing at a quicker pace.
