^^

Same, generally do +1 BB for every limper.

Again, that's a semi stylistic thing (although w/ 6 limps ahead of you or something obv TT is gonna need more than 3x, b/c you don't want to be in with ~4 hands on many flops w/ TT), but it's what my betpot AHK is programmed to do.

Regular check is the way to go with Stars. Got both mine in under a week.
For some reason, some banks delay depositing those. I remember doing that last summer with another site I did Sports Betting with, and it took over a month to get credited.

Has anyone had an issue with the eCheck deposit? I tried it for the first time and it said my account could not be found. It gives you the money right away the first time pending approval, and I lost a bit then it took back what I deposited when it got declined. So now I have a negative balance with no way to get money on. What method are you guys using to deposit on Stars? I guess I could always use Western Union, did that with PP back in the day and it worked perfect, but the min on Stars is $100 and it cost $15 to send.

i rarely try to trap with aces or kings, let alone queens. something about losing a lot more calling than you would win raising in those situations.

Haha, yeah, the reason I called instead of raising was because it was a battle of the blinds, and I figured if I'd just called he'd put out a preflop raise like he'd done on several earlier hands just to (assumably) steal my blind. Yeah, I hated the fact those Ks came out, but I was thinking about the chances of him having one with only two of us in when he's only making a check on the BB. His kicker was weak; justified only calling I guess; but all in all, if I'd made a raise he's probably bowing out right there. Fortunately it worked for me and I went on to win that SNG. I'm really glad I was able to cripple that fool, too, because he was hands down the best player at the table...well...aside from the fact he tilted like a motherfucker after I drew out on him, which led to his demise.

I'm gonna play real loose while I'm playing these micro stakes tourneys. I'm playing with house money anyway. There was only 1 SNG I didn't cash in yesterday and won 2...not bad for somebody who just does this for fun .

Way to lazy to read anything but the first post, but that looks cool as hell. I didn't see if it listed his starting amount or is that unlimited and he just had to make 10K profit? Did it say how many hours he played week 1 and how many tables at once?

I don't believe there are any restrictions for him as far as a starting bankroll, number of tables and how many hours to play. I believe that he is doing 24 full ring tables at poker stars. From the graph he has on the blog its been over 100k hands this week so I would imagine hes putting in a rediculous number of hours.

Sitting in the Vegas airport as we speak heading back to Charlotte in a bit...

Came in on Thurs night at 9pm Vegas time...went immediately to the Sahara for their 11pm tournament that came recommended by 2p2

Tourny was 45 with 20 add-on. About 80 runners with like ~7 paying or something. I finish around 15 when my AJ < AT all in pre w/ like 7BB, b/c blinds were getting stupid.

Played 1/2 at the MGM all day Friday for a net of -30, play was terrible and got donked on twice for my entire stack, still managed to almost break even...gg me.

It was fun though.

*Also made it out to WSOP event 1 at the Rio yesterday which was kickass. Phil Ivey is taller than I thought in person, and Gigabet looks retarded...thats about all I can say about the experience.

asking this a on a few boards...

down to 2 tables in a 4 table not online tournament

You (1,200 chips) are on the button with 10-10

blinds are 40/80

UTG (1,100) limps in

Next player (1,400) raises to 160.
Action folds around to you and you call.
Small Blind (460) raises to 400 leaving him with 60 chips left. BB folds, UTG and the original raiser call

whats your next move? Shove, fold, call?

[Edited on June 1, 2008 at 6:04 PM. Reason : bb folds]
