dude, i wasnt serious.

you dont have to go allin, just raise that shit. if he reraises then the flags would go up.

chances are he'll fold.

raise to what? 800? then you are pot commited and you have to call...

or did you mean raise the raiser that raised 160?

this is what i did...ended up losing to AT suited when an ace floped.

I was just wondering if there was any other thoughts/ideas how to handle it. Thank you for your input.

I was in that situation a minute ago...but I did what I did because I had to eat and didn't give a fuck.

I went all in because I knew the guy that kept reraising me had some bullshit (which he did, and didn't draw out), but another guy hanging around in the hand caught a J with his JKo. We all had about the same chipstack and he shouldn't have even been in the hand with all that preflop raising. Like I said, I had to eat, so fuck it...

^ no idea...

I went to the wsop for two days last year. What amazed me were the side games. I stood there watching Todd Brunson bet $50,000 on the river in a cash omaha game and he didnt even break a sweat.

no

you over committed yourself. your oly move on the flop there should be all in with like 1300 in the pot an you having like 1k left.

next time stick to the pot sized or 3x blind raise

you are thinking about this all wrong.

if you are going to bet 650 there, you might as well just go all in pre flop

well this time i was shortstacked. I had 1600 with 300 blinds. What's the problem with that? I'll take QQ anyday of the week to do that with over some of the other shit I've been getting.

not sure on this one, but going all in in that situation may be a negative EV play. It looks like it's about the point in the tournament where people shove though

well now that I think about it...in a 10 cent game late at night where people are just drinking and playing a fun game of cards shoving probably isn't a bad move. If the stakes are a little higher I'd raise to 300 or 350. If a short stack goes all-in I'm calling but if someone who has me covered goes over the top of me I'm folding. if an A or K comes on the flop I press the brakes.

raise to about 3x the bb. If I raised 550 and was called I'd shove in that situation post flop. It looks a little like a bluff and he'll call if he caught any part of the flop. No point in giving him a free card and if he doesn't call your post flop bet he isn't going to put any more chips in the pot anyway.

It was early early in the tournament so I had no idea how this guy played and I couldn't look him up on sharkscope. I never know when to raise up 1010 and when to keep everyone in the hand for value. I'll take some criticism here. I would have had 400 chips left with 10/20 blinds if I had lost.

AQs to somebodys AKs and another...irrelevant shouldnt have shoved or called shove guy. Led after the flop with a Q, but it also had a J. Turn was a 9...River was a 10.

i think pre-flop you did the right thing, if that's what you're asking.

the other dude got pretty lucky with the flop. i think most can agree that the all-in on his part wasn't the smartest move
