Nice. I never liked the heads up games. I tried practicing at the lower limits but never got very good at it.

Anyone ever played overseas? I'm assuming all table action is in English?

Think i'm gonna play some tournaments there next week while i'm here studying abroad.

Why would you want to play a ft sponsored pro heads up?
I think when they first started out FT was a little more lax on their sponsored pro requirements.

I can't justify paying 11.99/mo but 5 free a day serves it's purpose every now and then. Perhaps I'll try the 2 month free referral thing.

oh, in regards with respect to the 11.99? def. not worth it no.

So I was just reading up on the Main Event this year and get this:

• Day 5 - Play will continue at 12 PM, on Saturday, July 12, 2008, and play 5 levels.

• Day 9 - Play heads up until champion is crowned on Monday, November 10, 2008.

Also, is there anywhere locally to pick up good cards like Copag or Kem plastics or something? I'd use mine pretty liberally if I knew I could pick them up from somewhere locally.

IIRC my copags were shipped with a quickness, but were unfortunately stolen after I let a group of kids use them for a night. I might cash in on two free-ish sets soon, so if you still need some in a couple of weeks I might be able to hook a deck up.

The new NJ sets come with plastic cards, the deck you got is quite atrocious.

All Fun n Games in Apex has a good selection of Copags and Gemco.

We have been having problems with KEM coming marked. (The ink on the back had shading problems, and was not uniform on all the cards.) If you are playing poker, this might will be a problem. This was the case for the 3 different KEM deck sets I bought this year. I will no longer be purchasing them.

If you say this is the reason when you take them back, the stores makes you send them back and not return them.

A buddy of mine used to host a game and I finally convinced him to use two decks and shuffle from behind. Anyway, he only had red decks so he decided it would be a good idea to mark each card from one deck with a black marker as to not get the two decks confused.

The fuck?

What'd he have you think? A set of 2s???

And that's more or less a joke. I'm betting he had bullets.

'twould make the most sense I guess with how much he spazzed out.

And people betting on draws like that at the 200 dollar level really gets my hopes up!!

btw does anybody have any experience with Rally cards? They look cheaper and I think a place close to my house sells them.

He could have at least pushed all in. I heart negative EV plays.
