holy shit national geographic shit going on outside my window

a hawk captured a bird and has it piinned and hes surrounded by bluebirds and crows. the bluebirds are just yelling at him but the crows are circling around him trying to scare him off. all the while hes plucking the bird he has captured and that bird is freakin the fuck out. crazy

applying for internships is frustrating

have fun with all the candidates from NCSU that have over a 3.0 that can't operate instruments without help, ruin $500 worth of chemicals because they can't follow simple instructions, and can't perform sophomore-level separation techniques without assistance

That's awesome. I drove I-40 from Raleigh all the way out to Cali when I moved and there is some really cool stuff. On my return trip when I'm done with school I'm going to do it again, but take some more time to really enjoy everything and make some detours...

I love stopping in to some local bars along the way and just grabbing one drink with the locals. I always meet some really interesting folks...
