From the preveiws they allude to her having a troubled past. I hope they explain that some, so she actually has some background. It was hinted at in X2 but never explained

how do you guys know when the 50th post on a page is?

Be sure to stay until the end of the credits - there's a final shot worth seeing.

just watched the scene from X2 with Mystique making out with Wolvie. And when she said what do you really want and turned to stryker i snickered.

btw Mystique is my favorite character and I'm excited she's in the 3rd movie. She's so bad ass in the movies it's ridiculous.

I'm going today at 11:30 GMT (so will probably be watching it right when you're waking up) for some reason all the theatres in London seem to have it today.

i know this belongs in the comics discussion thread, but on a related note, there's apparently going to be a storm/black panther series written by a romance novelist:

i guess i'm just a dirty chauvinist, but i have a hard time getting into female action characters. maybe its just cause there haven't been any good movies that fit into that genre (elektra, tomb raider, aeon flux, etc all sucked). i'd much rather see wolverine cut somebody up than her slink her way out of handcuffs, but still a cool character

haha yeah. And you have to admire the way her character was "hollywoodized" from the comic books to the big screen.

"Clothes? ha! Don't need those. Lets give her some scale like thingies!"

^haha yeah I almost forgot about that

And they completely left out the fact that she is Rogue's adoptive mother

Sorta Spoilers...

I don't really see what would differentiate a Wolverine Solo movie from X1,2,or 3, oh wait there wouldn't be that annoying 15 minutes of other characters.

The action scenes in it were great, however overall I didn't leave the theatre dying to see it again (I've cancelled plans to see it two more times this weekend). I think there were a lot of things in it that fans have been dying to see (Phoneix Force, Danger Room, Fastball Special, Iced up Iceman) however it all came together sub-par. I thought Jackman and Berry gave wooden performances (even for them) at best. Largely I just think its a huge diappointment, but maybe it will grow on me like the first.

Finally, I guess it might actually be the last one. They definately didn't pull any punches.

I know its not really fair either but I couldn't watch the scene's with Angel without expecting him to be like "But, I love you Claire" or "But, I'm not gay." or somesuch.

if you see it...stay til after the credits...it makes it a little better...

best part was "don't you know who i am...i'm the juggernaut bitch"

Moody I have to agree. The movie was a little rushed and there was way too much going on. Of course I particularly loved the scenes with Jean being all bad-ass, but other than that I left feeling like I missed something. I like how they showed a Superman Returns trailer right before X-Men. From the looks of things, it's going to be pretty good.

X-Men 3 really appeals to anyone who actually READS the X-Men comic books. Most of the scenes in the movie are taken right out the comic books. I appreciated that, but it still seemed rushed. There was no room for mystery or having to figure things out. The dialogue just really put everything out there.

Anyways, the book is much better...

The theater I went to had a preview for My Super Ex-Girlfriend, not Superman.

It kicked ass, overall.

Probably not as good as the second movie, but at least as good as the first.

What did people not like about it? I guess there was a little too much going on, and too many characters, but that wasn't bad enough to really bother me.

JUGGERNAUT IS NOT A FUCKING MUTANT

seriously

there is some serious inner turmoil going on right now

over whether i'm just being really hard on this movie

or whether it was the worst way to "end" the series
