Running back Reuben Droughns, who was inactive for the Browns' week three loss to the Ravens, said he'll be ready for this Sunday's game in Oakland. "You can count me in," Droughns told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "The strength wasn't in my arm, and all it would've [taken] was for somebody to rip the ball out to [injure it further]."

Droughns initially suffered the injury, diagnosed as a bruised right clavicle and chest muscle, in the collision that knocked Bengals linebacker David Pollack out for the season with a neck injury. Jason Wright and Jerome Harrison ran in Droughns' place and were underwhelming, to say the least."

SipnOnSyzurp, keep Droughns for one more week. If he looks terrible against this pathetic Oakland defense, it may be time to look elsewhere. If he starts, which it looks like he will, he could be a very good play.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I think I need help.

I have both Chris Chambers and Randy McMichael on 3 of my 4 fantasy teams. They have underachieved on so many levels early on, esp. McMichael. Should I abandon ship on both or just get rid of McMichael? I'm scared to get rid of Chambers b/c of the second half of last year.

Kurt Warner has been announced the starter for this week's game against Atlanta.

So I wouldn't pick-up Leinart this week.

What are you talking about with Chambers?

Why in the hell would you drop him?

Who else is on waivers... Terrell Owens? Steve Smith?

Ok, I prematurely dropped warner and got c. frye. Wondering if I should get warner back off of waivers? Frye is playing @Oakland this week. Favre and pennington are my other QBs.

Out of Frye, warner, and favre, not sure who I would play this week, either. Maybe Favre because Philadelphia's pass defense is worse than oakland's (or is it that everyone doesnt bother passing on oakland?).

^umm, it's tennessee. You do the math.

You gotta play Frye or Pennington. Warner could fumble himself out of the game and I wouldn't trust Favre to produce.

Dunn vs Ari and C. Portis vs Jac. Should I bench either one and put in Morris vs Chi?
How bout Culpepper vs Hou. Would Rivers vs Bal be a better option this week or mebbe even pick up Carr off of waivers?

I'm thinking of putting in Carr vs Mia and benching Culpepper. Culpepper has been more of a disappointment so far and Carr's been doing great even though his team sucks. What say ye Guru?
Also since Steve Smith is back, i'm assuming Keyshawn won't be able to do as much?

^wrong...keyshaun will still have solid numbers because the coverage will focus on smith...sometimes the #2 receiver can be more productive than the #1 receiver.

I have a chance to trade Culpepper for Bulger.

Culpepper is down to his last straw with Houston this week, and I think Bulger is more reliable.

thoughts?

I have Rudi Johnson, Willis Mcgahee, and Frank Gore in a League that only starts 1 RB and 1 RB/WR, The guy in my league who had Shaun Alexander really needs a RB and he is willing to trade me Shaun for any of the above rb's. I am not sure how soon he will return or even how good he will be when he returns. However, with the recent gore fumbling he may miss goal line carries so I thought he could be a possiblity to trade for Alexander.... Any thoughts?????????????????????????????????????

Hell yeah, get Alexander. You have the first and fourth-leading rushers and you could trade a fumbler that may not get goal line touches for the league MVP that could be back in 2-3 weeks? Go for it!

Should I play Frank Gore, who is injured and may not play, or Lamont Jordan, who hasn't done crap this season.

And my kicker is Vinitieri, who didn't play last week and didn't practice today.

what kicker should I pick up?
S. Janikowski
(Oak - K) vs. Cle
L. Tynes
(KC - K) vs. SF
O. Mare
(Mia - K) vs. Hou
R. Bironas
(Ten - K) vs. Dal
M. Nugent
(NYJ - K) vs. Ind
P. Dawson
(Cle - K) vs. Oak
K. Brown
(Hou - K) vs. Mia

I still expect Gore to play, and probably will do better than Jordan.

Kickers are pretty much all the same.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS TRADE???

I just traded away Bulger, Gore, and Driver to get Portis, Chambers, and D.Clark.

We play in a 2 QB start/week league and start 2RBs, 3WRs, 1 flex, 1 TE.

I already have LJ and the idea to team him with Portis was tempting. I also needed a TE bad as Cooley has sucked big balls (I did pick up E.Johnson this week though). My third RB is Droughns. My Qbs are now weak, but are Carr, Frye, and McNair. Bulger actually has less pts than all three in our league so far. My WRs now are Chambers, Hines Ward, Williamson, Cotchery, and Antonio Byant.

I was real hesitant to do this deal, but I'm selling Gore high and I am worried about Bulger's production so far considering the teams they've played (den, sf, ari) - he should have put up better stats. I really didn't want to lose Driver, but Chambers has such a huge upside once Culpepper gets it going.

So what do you think??

^Yeah maybe. I didn't want to give up Bulger, but in our league which only penalizes for INTs and fumbles (no penalty for incompletions or anything), McNair, Frye, and Carr have all out performed Bulger. Bulger really should have been able to put up better stats thus far so I really don't know what his deal is, but if he continues to his 1 TD/1 INT rate, then the other guys are just as good as he is.

With the new offense the Rams are no longer as pass-oriented as they once were. That's why he doesn't have nearly the stats he use to have.

Probably a good move to deal him because even if he does start performing, he tends to be out for at least 3-4 games a season from injuries.

OK, I need to pick up a TE to cover a bye week. I've narrowed it down to a few:

John Gilmore, Bears

Chris Baker, Jets

Eric Johnson, SF

Mark Bruener or Owen Daniels, HOU

I'm leaning toward Daniels (HOU playing MIA this week)....any suggestions?
