ESPN needs to a collection of useless buzzer beaters

#1 Duke vs UNC end of regulation 95
#2 that one just now
#3 something from Hodge

duncan had two spectacular all around games and two more great defensive games where he floundered on offense

parker had one great all around game and two games where he scored well and another where he wasnt anything special

neither really had anyone guarding him although gooden/varejo/z is slightly better d than hughes/gibson/snow and duncan faced many more doubles

i think parker prob gets it, but not a landslide

are you kidding? he would prob love to be traded to the west b/c that would most likely mean he has at least one good teammate

^^^They prob stuck him with a title in the front office because he has nothing else better to do right now, something like "assistant VP of player operations

ed- Stern "thanks to the spurs for a great season" (and also sweeping to make this the most unwatched finals ever)

Haha, Cavs fans are booing Stern.

Is there any worse trophy celebration to watch then the away team winning?

It is pretty bad when the only reason I watch the Finals is to see Eva Longoria.

I can't believe I won the under by THIRTY points in an NBA finals game. Double EW.

Awful series, the NBA needs to seriously consider some of the options being floated around out there to realign the playoffs.

haha, the shot heard round the world. Vegas had astronomical action on that game. Everyone was either on Uconn -2 or the Duke moneyline. Probably their biggest moneymaker ever.

gg but it was 83-82 so 165 points total

so you only won by 11

you must have added 73 + 72

Really. I always thought when a team was 3-0 in a best of 7 they purposely didn't play as well as they could so they would lose the away game. That way they could win on home court and generate that much more money from having an additional game in the series.

Go to Page 2 at espn.com, and listen to David Stern talking to Bill Simmons on his podcast yesterday. A good 40 minutes.

I just can't believe someone got paid a lot of money to make that Filet-o-fish commercial.

The best part of the whole series was The Admiral showing up out of nowhere in a pink shirt to get a hat.

yeah i noticed that when i got to work this morning.

i stopped watching the game with about 2 minutes left when it was obvious the Spurs had the game... looks like there was a TON of fouling & three pointers at the very end... still won handily though
