To be fair, we stayed with them for most of the game. The game was lost in a 2 minute stretch at the beginning the second half. Still, it's discouraging that we still haven't learned to come out with intensity in the second half.

^^nah, we started sucking when they cut the lead from 9 to 2 before the end of the first half. Not even a full half of good basketball.

The second half was a showcase of poor defense and rebounding. Their front court beat our front court on the offensive and defensive end and on the boards. We had tough shots that were getting blocked and altered, they got easy shots and put backs.

We never pressured the passes to the inside, so it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

but when you play a slow paced game you have to play good defense... dont forget we also average a thousand turnovers.... now we lapsed in the first 5 minutes of the second half tonight, but then we started playing good defense and tehy continued to make shots... we also played really good defense in the first half.

we are 12th in the ACC in scoring and are 4-5. that cant be merely attributed to simply slow pace of play.
