couldn't get out of work until 2pm, and by that time it was already 9-2 UGA. i caught the tail end of the eighth and top of our comeback in the ninth. so at least i got to see our Pack in the Supers on TV this year.

despite our attempts to show how we're a Division III team, I think we can bounce back tomorrow. Now we know what we're up against and how we cannot afford to give away lead off walks or freebies to this UGA team.

I put a lot of this on our coaching staff today...just wasn't a well coached game imo.

Using 4 pitchers AFTER it's a 8-2 ballgame doesn't make sense to me. This is super regionals not middle of the year series. We probably have the deepest and best bullpen in college baseball this year...riding the starting pitcher till we are down 8-2 just doesn't make sense to me. After Schunik gave up 4 in third he's on a short leash and I'm giving it to our experienced and succesful bullpen the next time he gets in any trouble. Instead, you wait till you are in a the hole 6 runs to use 2 of your top relievers?

he was down 4-2 in the 3rd, i believe. you don't pull you starter down 4-2 in the third.

the next runs scored came in a group of 3, after which he was pulled. it makes perfect sense, really.
