perfect in both leagues

In my big money league I'm stacked at RB (p. thomas, best, foster, brown) but really thin at WR (smitty, bowe, garcon)...Which RB should I try to trade (I'm not giving anyone except brown up for anything less than a top tier WR)

Will repost this with extra information regarding my line-up

Who should I start this week at my RB spot? 10 team league with standard scoring

Steven Jackson v Was
Jahvid Best v Minn
Brandon Jackson v Chicago

I could also bench one of my three wide-outs and replace them with one of my rbs, but I don't think that would be wise: My WRs are:

Greg Jennings v Chicago
Reggie Wayne v Denver
Randy Moss v Buffalo.

My team is 0-2 and I really need a win this week

^ Your big decision is either Jackson or Best. Jackson has a better matchup but best has a better nose for the endzone. I'd go S. Jackson, Best, Jennings, R. Moss, Wayne.

Need a WR off the waiver. Pick one: Mark Clayton, Manningham, Mike Williams (TB), Louis Murphy, Mike Thomas, James Jones, Nate Washington or Naanee. I'm dropping Kenny Britt and I think all of these guys are better.

I'd go with Mark Clayton out of those options. Mike Williams and Naanee would be a close 2nd

first place in 3/4 leagues. I am a little weak at WR in one league - Desean Jackson, Anquan Boldin are my WR1 and WR2, but my WR3 is split between Dez Bryant, Percy Harvin and Malcolm Floyd (we get return yards in this league so Dez and Percy are projected to get a ton of points every week, especially Percy). I am trying to ship out one of my RBs since we can only start two - Frank Gore, Arian Foster, Pierre Thomas, Matt Forte, Brandon Jackson, but no one wants to make any trades, it's pretty gay.

who should i start this week? non-ppr league, pick 2 RB:

Frank Gore @ KC (starter duh)
Arian Foster vs. Dallas
Pierre Thomas vs. Atl
Matt Forte vs. GB
Brandon Jackson @ GB

2-0 in Yahoo, 0-2 in ESPN.

I've got 2 RB spots and 1 WR/RB in my ESPN. Chris Johnson is a definite start for me. And I think Knowshon Moreno is a lock to start too. So my question is, would you put Clinton Portis, Dez Bryant, Hakeem Nicks, or Devery Henderson at the RB/WR spot?

Just had this trade proposed to me in my Yahoo league (2-0). Kevin Walter (just picked him up yesterday) for Jason Snelling. My WRs are Miles Austin, Donald Driver, Mike Wallace, Braylon Edwards, Walter, Naanee. My RBs are Chris Johnson, Hightower, Beanie Wells, Felix Jones. Thoughts? I'm leaning towards yes on this...Snelling would probably be starting for me at RB with Johnson. Just unsure of who my 3rd WR would be.

^ Nicks

Don't make the trade. Snelling is worthless when Turner is healthy. Seems like Turner's injury was minor and the only reason he didn't come back in was because they were beating the shit out of Ari. If Beanie ever gets healthy he'll be an ok RB2.

Walter or Wallace (when Ben comes back especially) are good WR3 for you. You can probably go ahead and drop Edwards from your WRs. He just got a DUI this morning and by the time he gets back Holmes will be starting.

Forte. Martz loves him and he has big play potential already scoring from 20+ yards 3 times. It's always nice to have a guy going on MNF too so you know where you stand points-wise. Foster would be 1b, but the Cowboys have been pretty stiff against the run and despite week 1 I'm not totally sold on him just yet. Houston's bread is buttered in the downfield passing game.

Thank you guys for all the advice:

Could you help me pick my Two RB's for this week?

Ronnie Brown
Knowshon Moreno
Tim Hightower
Jhavid Best

I have to play Best, even though he's projected to produce less than Hightower and brown. Im hesitant to start Hightower, but he's been productive lately. What do I do GURU?

Here's the deal. I'm in a custom IDP league that lets me carry 3 QB's.

I have Jay Cutler, Alex Smith and Clausen. Staffard was on IR, but now he's been upgraded so I've got to drop a QB.

Stafford seems the safer keeper (this is basically my bye week QB), but I'm pretty worried about his shoulder being a repeating thing the whole season. Clausen has looked like garbage, but he also hasn't really had much of a chance either way.

Thoughts? Do I gamble on injury or gamble on ability?

I'm gonna drop Braylon Edwards (obvious reasons). Here are my current WRs:
Miles Austin, Donald Driver, Kevin Walter, Mike Wallace, Naanee.
And my current RBs:
Chris Johnson, Felix Jones, Hightower, Beanie Wells.
I can't decide if I should pick up another RB or a WR, but there's not much available at RB (Forsett, LT, and Tolbert are the best). At WR I could get Brandon Tate, Mario Manningham, Josh Cribbs, Nate Washington, Mike Williams, Brandon Lloyd. Any thoughts?

Kevin Faulk possible torn ACL. Helps out Fred Taylor, until of course his yearly injury

OK TWW, I registered mainly for the advice in this thread.
1) I need one TE from T. Gonzalez, D.Keller, or T.Heap
2)With R. Bush likely out for a couple of weeks I need to replace him with either Breaston, B. Wells, or any of the TEs listed above.

couple other pieces of news today:

-Larry Johnson was released by the Redskins, making Keiland Williams the #2 RB behind Clinton Portis

-Jerious Norwood is out for the season, making Jason Snelling the #2 RB behind Michael Turner

^it would help to put down the opponent for each player you want us to choose from. From that list I would probably go with Keller for your TE, if you are carrying 3 TEs I would drop Heap or try to trade away Gonzalez to increase your RB/WR depth.
I would start Beanie Wells in place of Reggie Bush. However, if Beanie is out or limited again this week in practice, I would drop Heap or Breaston and pick up the best available RB on the waivers. if no one jumps out at you on the waiver wire I would pick up Jason Snelling or Keiland Williams and start one of them above Breaston.

^^Definitely not

Trade advice needed: (Start 2 RB, 3WR)
I give: Clinton Portis, Legedu Naanee
I get: Donald Brown, Mike Wallace

I see it as a downgrade at RB and upgrade at WR, just want to make sure the upgrade for my #3 WR is worth the downgrade at RB. Brown gives me insurance for Addai who typically gets dinged up half way through the season and Wallace should be a solid #3 when Big Ben gets back.

Current RB's are: Rashard Mendenhall, Joseph Addai, Jonathon Stewart, and Portis
WR: Roddy White, Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Derrick Mason, and Naanee

^^I would do that trade man, I think Donald Brown will be alright and Wallace beats Naanee

I've got two guys outbidding each other trying to get Andre Johnson from me

I give:
Andre Johnson
Michael Turner
Justin Forsett

I get:
MJD
Santana Moss
Mike Williams (Tampa Bay)
Demaryius Thomas

OR

Steve Smith (Panthers)
Knowshon Moreno (I'm trying to swap him for Jahvid Best though)
Brandon Jackson
without Forsett (not that it really matters since he's not doing much)

I know its Andre but still, I feel like they're giving up a lot to get him. Plus Turner just pisses me off and I want him gone.

^^^ None of those trades are going to benefit you. Are you thin at RB or WR? Giving up Andre and Turner is a pretty big gamble because those are your studs...and you arent getting much in return. And dont give up on Turner yet...I think he is going to be just fine.

These are my RBs in my 10 person ESPN league.

CJ2K
Pierre Thomas
Lesean McCoy
Jahvid Best
Arian Foster
Ahmad Bradshaw

Which 2 of those guys should I trade? I'm leaning toward either McCoy, Pierre and/or Arian. I'd like to trade Ahmad but I probably won't get much value and I also having a raging clue for Jahvid Best too.

Don't fucking trade Pierre Thomas. Bush just got hurt and Pierre is going to light it up in the next 6 weeks.

And you won't get good value for him now.

Honestly, I'd trade Arian Foster. His value is never going to be higher because of his fluke week, and as you say, Bradshaw isn't worth much right now, but he could be $$ down the road.

McCoy, Best, and Thomas should be your main starters.

I'm gonna get grilled for this, but here's my suggestion.

Trade Jahvid Best and get someone like Andre Johnson/Miles Austin in return.

You're RB's can take the hit and he's so hot right now. Keep in mind that Best is a rookie, and like all rookies, Best will hit a wall where one of two things happen:

a) The wear and tear of the NFL catch up to him and he gets hurt

or

b) He stops putting up ridiculous numbers because teams are game planning for him

One of these two things will happen. It's a when, not an if. If I were you, I would trade him now while his value is high and be comfortable with the fact that he could put up sick numbers for another few weeks, but the consistency from another top QB or WR would be huge for your team.

You're stacked at RB. Trade now while you can.

some news on Brandon Jackson

Quote :
"Packers coach Mike McCarthy and offensive coordinator Joe Philbin have indicated that they don't see Brandon Jackson as a carry-the-load back going forward.
McCarthy still plans to have Jackson on the field for a starter's snap-count, but his carries will be limited. Packers coaches don't trust Jackson's body to hold up to the toll of 18-20 touches per game, and he's still too valuable as a situational passing-down back. Barring a trade, Jackson will continue to split touches with John Kuhn and Dimitri Nance. Those who went "all-in" on their waiver wire budget will be disappointed to learn that Jackson is not going to be a reliable RB2"

Should I pick up Tolbert or Snelling as a replacement for Forsett- it looks like Tolbert will be getting the goal line carries, but snelling is now the solid #2 running back behind a "mr. glass" like turner

I'm leaning more towards tolbert, but I would hate to get burned (eitherway though they are both better than forsett has proven to be)

It's hard to say picking up a #2 for a #1 is a good decision with Seattle getting to play the Rams twice this year, and what appears to be a crappy Arizona twice as well.

Either way, if you were going to get one I would suggest Tolbert.

Pick 1:
Vick @ Jacksonville
Romo @ Houston

who should I start this week (pick 3)-

Simms Walker v Philly

Colston v Atl

Cribbs @ Bal

Jacoby Jones v Dal

Brandon Tate v Buff

we get 20yd for return point, 10yds for receiving point, and no PPR (and 6 for td, obviously)

Honestly, right now I like Jones and Tate simply for their guaranteed return/offensive value, and I'm pretty much trying to pick b/w Simms walker and Colston for the true receiver spot

Looking for a little quick advice for my team. I am in a 14 team league and missed the draft and first week of play so Im looking to iron out my roster. It currently looks like this:

QB
Brady
Sanchez

RB
Donald Brown
Frank Gore
Beanie Wells
John Kuhn
Willis McGahee
Felix Jones

WR
Johnny Knox
Calvin Johnson
Chaz Schilens

TE
Jason Witten

K
Gostkowski

DEF
Chicago

Ive got waivers out for the following players (Im currently 2nd in order):

Jacoby Jones
Demaryius Thomas
Mike Tolbert
Marcedes Lewis

and would be giving up:

Kuhn, McGahee, Schilens, and Felix Jones

Does that waiver order seem pretty good? I would love to pick up Tolbert but I think I have a more immediate need at WR and I'm guaranteed to at least get one of those 2 WRs.
How long is Beanie Wells supposed to be out before he starts to make an impact?
Any other suggestions or general advice?
