these numbers are in no way supposed to represent an actual family, and are simply a reduced-in-scale version of the federal numbers.

It's shit like that why you're viewed as a moonbat.

We need to take some of the lazy assed money that billionaires don't use and put it to work.

That's not an answer, that's a desired outcome. You never tell us how we get that outcome. A law that says "everyone gets paid X" doesn't work. Otherwise, we'd cure cancer by making it illegal. We'd solve homelessness by making people buy homes. We'd solve lack of health insurance by forcing people to...oh.

I think the point was that the government needs more income, not the imaginary family of four. Although, if I could, I'd personally tax all y'all.

It's actually worse. With a household budget, the household has to take responsibility for their bad decisions. With the federal government, the politicians and bureaucrats never have to take any responsibility. 100% of the consequences are offloaded onto the taxpayer or foreign creditors.

Beg for free stuff from the government all you want, but know that absolutely none of it is free. It all comes at a cost, and usually, the cost is a lower standard of living for you.

pryderi:

hey. this protest is great. it's finally opening up the core of the problem. it isn't sexism. it isn't racism. it isn't even class warfare. it isn't really any xyzism. it's about lazy beta humans vs. the more evolved who are able to fend for themselves.

i like how those themes are more prominent as this goes on. the wild and lazy and fat asses who are the guilty parties behind the huge carbon footprints in our cities who leech off of humanity for its survival who guzzle gas and pollute the earth more than contribute to it.

we are a unique species in that we allow this to occur. but survival of the fittest is a bitch. just look at every other organism on earth. the best part is. we aren't any different

There's an important distinction there. "Millionaires" with $1 million (or hell, even $5 million) in their 401k are not the same beast as someone who makes $1 million+ in income in a single year.

Change the question to "do you support increasing taxes on people with >$1 million net worth?" and see how they respond.

well, what's stopping HIM from putting his money where his mouth is, literally. There's a box you can check on your taxes where you pay more. FUCKING DO IT AND SET A GOD DAMNED EXAMPLE, then he can bitch and moan. Oh, and it would also help if he weren't being a hypocritical ass and structuring his pay so that it's not as taxable. Dude is really playing all of you sheep

warren buffet is the biggest hypocrite of all time. he hides behind his investors and shares and pays less taxes than anybody. he WOULD be for more taxes because he doesn't pay any to begin with.

he just wants the current administration to be in power to pass more socialized bailouts to the companies that he is invested in

^^^the question becomes why is your movement dead set that everybody not on your side is a racist?

why do you think the problem is only successful investing workers that are simply part of the system that has produced more wealth, food, consumer goods than any organization in the history of human civilization?

is steve jobs (who was a 1%) evil? did he do you an injustice by giving you an iphone or a computer? or did he enrich your life with the most modern communicating device in the history of life? is he really just a racist capitalist crony you make him out to be?

no he's not. he created a brilliant organization that employs thousands to enrich the lives of everybody on earth. and if you start taxing him it's going to reflect in the prices of his goods, and the amount he is able to pay his employees
