Westgarth/Thornton was a "spark the team" fight.

Second one was a skirmish in the corner. Harrison went in to back someone up, and Chara put his hand on Harrison's throat, which started the fight.

Third one was likely something residual from pile in the corner.

Skinner in the line-up tonight.

Discussion time. There have been rumblings from fans that Skinner should be sat for the rest of the season for precautionary reasons. Your thoughts?

Mine: If he's fine...play him. He didn't have a concussion. Others have been saying "There's nothing to gain..no use in him getting seriously injured for no reason." Well, you could say that about any other damn player on the team.

Also, Faulk is the damn man. I can see him developing into a top defensman in the league. He isn't overly physical, but strong, and plays the man when he needs to. His defensive stick-work is fantastic, and he's one of the few defensman I enjoy watching play...defense.

Either he has a concussion or if he doesn't. If he doesn't, then he's good to go. These people make no sense. Skinner does need to learn to keep his god damn head up though or he won't be in the league a few years from now.

Yeah, I think it'd be dumb for Skinner to sit out for the aforementioned reasons.

Also I share your love of Faulk. It took me for a little while into this season to appreciate the defensive side of his game just as much as his offensive side, but he's a really solid all around player. I'll be a lot happier to have him as a part of our defensive core than a lot of other guys in the past.

I know that our 2nd line hasn't played together that much due to Ruutu's injury, but damn, they've really been a weak part of the team this year. Staal and Skinner are a -17 and -19 respectively. And on the +/- rating, it really blows my mind that McBain is a 3. Don't know how that happened considering he routinely gets his ass handed to him in 1 on 1's.

Really looking forward to see what our offseason moves look like. I don't buy injuries as the main reason for losing 16 of 18. The people in your system should at least be able to tread water instead of crashing and burning.
