The dewpoints were in the low 70's with a temp in the low 80's ahead of a frontal passage which dropped both of these numbers. The heat index was somewhere in the neighborhood of 87F at the time.

Yeah the penned on statement was about press not being allowed to follow her and no one having any info about where she was for 90 minutes. She was seen "perfectly healthy" in a carefully controlled setting for about a minute before heading home. So yeah, confirmation bias is evident.

So, couple things.

The "I'm allergic to Trump" comment was nonsense, she's clearly been sick for a while. I personally am leary of the whole allergies leading to pneumonia thing. It seems more likely that she's exhausted from a grueling travel schedule, tons of fund raising appearances, etc. and got sick. It happens. I can see why they wouldn't want to say that because it makes her appear weak. I get it.

The problem is that this is another example of her not being honest with the public, it plays right into the narrative that she's secretive and insular, and frankly there was no need to obfuscate.

I don't believe that she's got Parkinson or is suffering from seizures relates to meds or lingering brain injury, but she's also quite obviously not the model of health. She's almost 70 (yes I know Trump is older by a year or two) and she has had some health concerns in the past. That head injury and the blood clot in her head is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's also not insane to be concerned for about her overall physical capacity to keep up with the rigors of the presidency. You could legitimately say that if she can't handle the stress of campaigning maybe she won't be up to being POTUS.

As is often the case, the cover up and lies of omission make it look worse than it might otherwise. Again, I'm amazed by how clueless her campaign staff is on basic, basic PR stuff.

Allergies certainly can lead to pneumonia, it's not unheard of. Given that I'm not a doctor nor do I travel with her everyday I can't say that's not the case. I'm just saying that it's also possible that she's exhausted and that compromised her immune system. Either way, it's true that she's sick. The prolonged coughing the other day was quickly dismissed and talk that she might be sick was denounced as a right wing conspiracy. Turns out that yeah, she actually is sick.

If she didn't have a history of lying to people's faces (see her recent I never received a subpoena about emails statement) she might get the benefit of the doubt.

She's been shielded from the press and public for large parts of the campaign and wisely so since she didn't need to take any risks or make more than a few appearances.

There's been a rumor/bullshit story from the alt right crowd that she's sick and suffering from seizures and that's why she hasn't been in public.

So, what does she do, deny it condemn the alt right (in a speech that she really didn't need to make) and then make serious missteps by being sick at a couple appearances and denying that anything is wrong. It's just dumb and something that her campaign folks should be fired for.

Honestly, she should cruise through this election, Trump would lose to anybody you can think of (Biden, Warren, Sanders, etc) and she's making almost amateurish mistakes. She better not fuck this up because a Trump presidency would be a fucking nightmare.
