So I just enrolled in health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and long-term care insurance and all of that included I'm going to be paying less per month than I'm paying now for a lower-coverage (i.e. shitty) health insurance plan by itself.

Being responsible will pay off greatly as I get older.

In the near term, this will pay off greatly as my diabetic stuff is about to become a lot cheaper, and my dental and other stuff will become almost $free.
