damn that is awesome. i have been "out west" 2x. i loved it. my favorite places were grand tetons (which i know you've been to haha) and i also really liked glacier. and i liked whistler but that doesn't count because it is canadian

Yeah, grand teton was good.

There's a swimming hole on going to the sun road ~6? miles east of lake mcdonald. I swim in it for ...a long time? The water probably wasn't even 40F, and that hour? has been the highlight of this trip.

if it werent for this vacation, i'd likely just up and quit my job.

also, i started the wheels moving to transfer jobs today, and it went really well... already have 4 meetings lined up with perspective next managers.


although, there's a part of me that kinda hopes i land the job in california, however, professionally, the job that'd move me... oh.. up stairs from where i am right now would be the best position.


but we'll see.
