It's MGMT, not management (they really officially changed there name).

That seems like an alright play list, kids is way overplayed tough. It seems like the Shins would fit on that playlist nicely, their fan base seems to have really fallen off and I've been listening to them a lot lately. They rock

it is the only one i listen to

i refuse to listen to the mgmt kids. it sucks.

and all the songs on my playlist are overplayed. i think. well with the exception of a couple. but they kinda have to be since things are supposed to be CATCHY at my store. and the shins - meh. some of their stuff is ok. i don't really like them that much. especially because they are on like every playlist at my store. we listen to like 3 things: the shins, the cure, and kate nash. i am at my wit's end! haha.

Fad?

They've been around for a while and their older albums are def way better than Emotionalism (which everyone has). Even though they toured with DMB, I still love them. Songs I would recommend would be Distraction #74, Salina, If It's the Beaches, Colorshow, Talk on Indolence, The Travelin' Song... I could go on forever. Listen to them for serious!

I find quite the opposite. Their old stuff is fantastic, emotionalism had a few good songs on it. But if all you've listened to is emotionalism than you have no idea.

6. the decemberists are awful
Nah- a lot of their older stuff is alright, but their new album is really quite different. Seriously, listen to The Wanting Comes In Waves/Repaid and tell me you don't like that song.

Oh- and the original reason I posted in here is that Beirut is awesome, and today is going to be busy.
