negative. You are allowed to call me a "klutzy man" when it comes to me walking in heels.

can some people just do it naturally or is it a skill that must be learned

I think its a learned skill...alot of girls just aren't aware of how they walk in general. You put a girl in heels that walks all wonky in flats and you have a problem.

Granted I used to walk around my house with books on my head in my mom's heels when I was little...some types of heels still give me trouble. SO I walk it out around my house to get the groove

YES! I do a lil dancing too

A stiletto walk is way different from a wedge walk.

it seems like you would have to put more weight on the front of your foot

when you take a step does the heel touch the ground first or does the toe have to touch at the same time?

[Edited on July 12, 2011 at 1:47 PM. Reason : maybe i can give my coworker some unsolicited advice]

I totally did the book thing without heels on. My feet hurt too bad after walking in them and my lower back.

My grandmother wore heels EVERYDAY of her life up until about 7 years ago. They totally demolished her feet. Granted, she is 86 years old.

i don't wear heels anymore except for with suits

i am way more into flats and wedges (which i guess count as heels but not really to me because the aren't that hard to walk in. even steep wedges.) now

^^^if you're buying it in VA Beach, make sure it's from a reputable place.

there are a lot of shitholes on Military Hwy that sell POS's and are just fronts for drug activity.

UNC's webmail is such shit. I can't even add contacts. I'm under the firm belief they paid a freshman in Computer Science to design this botched POS.

I manage to trip myself up enough wearing tennis shoes and flats, I can't imagine adding heels in to the mix.
